Vince McMahon Resigns From All Roles With TKO

Following recent developments, Mr. McMahon has formally stepped down from his leadership roles at TKO, relinquishing both his Executive Chairmanship and Board of Directors seat.

WWE President Nick Khan confirmed today that Vince McMahon has resigned from his top positions at TKO.

I wanted to inform you that Vince McMahon has tendered his resignation from his positions as TKO Executive Chairman and on the TKO Board of Directors. He will no longer have a role with TKO Group Holdings or WWE.

On Thursday, Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon, WWE, and former executive John Laurinaitis, alleging sex trafficking, emotional abuse, and sexual assault.

The lawsuit presented disturbing details of Janel's experiences, encompassing sexual, physical, mental, and emotional mistreatment.

Denying the accusations, McMahon asserted, through a spokesperson, his intent to vigorously defend himself.

McMahon retired as WWE CEO in June 2022 amid reports of hush money and sexual misconduct allegations. He made a comeback as a member of the board of directors in January 2023. WWE and UFC merged to create TKO in April 2023, with the official completion of the deal in September 2023. McMahon assumed the role of Executive Chairman of TKO at that time.
