New information has emerged in the lawsuit against former WWE CEO Vince McMahon.
According to wrestling journalists Tim Marchman, Brandon Thurston, and John Pollock of Front Office Sports, the lawsuit identifies several high-ranking WWE officials besides McMahon.
Janel Grant's lawsuit, filed in January 2024, alleges sexual exploitation and attempted trafficking. While not directly accused of misconduct, the lawsuit names WWE President Nick Khan and COO Brad Blum as "Corporate Officer No. 1" and "Corporate Officer No. 2" respectively. Grant's lawyer confirmed these identities.
The lawsuit further identifies Stephanie McMahon, Vince's daughter and former co-CEO, as "Corporate Officer No. 3" and Brian Nurse, former general counsel, as "Corporate Officer No. 4." While Khan and Blum haven't been directly accused of wrongdoing, the lawsuit claims they were involved in actions that enabled and concealed the alleged exploitation, potentially making WWE liable.
WWE denies knowledge of any prior accusations and maintains it takes the matter seriously. This development adds another layer to the ongoing legal case against Vince McMahon and potentially expands the scope of the investigation.
