Vicky Kaushal's 'Chhaava' Sets An IMAX Release

Mumbai, February 8 - Maddock Films' historical action drama Chhaava is one of the most-awaited Bollywood films. Starring Vicky Kaushal in the title role alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna, the movie is directed by Laxman Utekar.

Chhaava is scheduled to be released on February 14 and on Saturday (February 8), the makers announced that it would also be released in IMAX format. It will take over the IMAX screens of Christopher Nolan's Interstellar which has been re-released for a limited 7-day period.



Chhaava is based on the life of Maratha king Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, played by Vicky Kaushal. It is an adaptation of the Marathi novel of the same name by Shivaji Sawant. Rshmika plays the role of Maharani Yesubai while Akshaye Khanna essays the character of Mughal Shahenshah Aurangzeb.
