Tom Hardy's 'Venom 3' Gets Official Title and A New Release Date

Los Angeles, March 13 - Tom Hardy-led third instalment in the superhero Venom franchise has an official title and a new release date.

Directed by Kelly Marcel, Venom 3 has been titled Venom: The Last Dance and is confirmed to hit big screens on October 25, 2024, moving up by two weeks from the previous date of November 8. It is intended to be the sixth film in Sony's Spider-Man Universe (SSU).



The Venom franchise originated in 2018 and was directed by Ruben Fleischer. The movie was a big box office success, grossing over $850 million globally. The sequel, Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021) was released during the Covid-19 pandemic and did well by grossing $500+ million.

The upcoming movie stars Tom Hardy returning in the titular anti-superhero title role, alongside Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor. The movie will be hitting theatres on October 25, 2024, and in India, it will be released in English, Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil, languages.
