Tere Ishk Mein Box Office: Dhanush, Kriti Sanon-starrer Sees Noticable Drop In Second Week Amid Dhurandhar Wave

Mumbai, December 11 - After the fantastic first week, Dhanush and Kriti Sanon's Tere Ishk Mein witnessed a sharp slowdown in the second week at the domestic box office, dropping by around 70%. The romantic drama could bring in only 25+ crore net in Week 2, showing a clear impact from the storm created by Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar.

Directed by Anand L Rai, Tere Ishk Mein was positioned to score a healthy trend after the solid opening week, especially given the film's positive reception and strong trending in metros. However, Dhurandhar's extraordinary first-week collection and massive audience pull overshadowed every other release, leaving little room for competing titles to grow.

Despite the heavy blow, Tere Ishk Mein has managed to maintain overall respectability. Its total India net collection after two weeks stands at around 109 crores, including an impressive 103.25 crores from the original Hindi version. These are good figures for a genre and the talent involved.

Tere Ishq Mein, which once looked like it would go on to cross the 150 crores mark, is now headed towards a 120+ crore India net lifetime, which remains a good result and makes it a box office hit. The strong Week 1 and stable urban audience base continue to support its trajectory.

Worldwide, the film has surpassed the 150 crore worldwide milestone within two weeks, with overseas markets contributing an estimated 21+ crores. Tere Ishk Mein, despite slowing down, will become Dhanush's biggest grosser yet this weekend, by outgrossing Raayan's 154 crores worldwide cume.
