Marvel Studios' Phase 4 films are finding it difficult to get a release date in China due to various reasons. The latest Marvel picture, "Eternals" from China-born director Chloe Zhao, has offered no indication that it will ever release in China. "Black Widow" and "Shang-Chi" also failed to make the cut for China's release. Sony's "Venom: Let There Be Carnage", however, indicates China release, but there are still no signs when it will be released there.
Starring Tom Holland as Peter Parker and directed by Jon Watts, "No Way Home" tells the story of what happens when the superhero is unmasked and can no longer keep his normal life separate from his masked one. It also features Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, Marisa Tomei, Benedict Wong, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx in prominent roles.
The superhero film is slated to release on December 17 in North America and in India among other markets.
