Two-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus made a special appearance at a WWE live event in Dublin, Ireland on June 29, where he introduced fellow Irish star Lyra Valkyria for her main roster debut.

Valkyria, who previously wrestled on NXT UK under the ring name Aoife Valkyrie, has been a staple of the NXT brand since making her debut last year. The 26-year-old impressed fans with her in-ring skills and her unique character, and she was quickly considered one of the top prospects on the NXT roster.



On Saturday night, Valkria finally got her chance to show the WWE Universe what she could do on the main roster. She was introduced by Sheamus, who welcomed her to the big leagues and wished her luck in her match against Scarlett Bordeaux.

Valkyria wasted no time making a statement, defeating Bordeaux in a dominant fashion. After the match, she celebrated with Sheamus in the ring, as the fans in Dublin erupted in cheers.

It remains to be seen when Valkyria will make her official main roster debut, but her performance on Saturday night showed that she is ready for the challenge. With Sheamus in her corner, she has a bright future ahead of her.
