'Shang-Chi' Star Simu Liu Takes A Hilarious Dig At 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' Leaks

Los Angeles, November 10 - The Marvel Studios/Sony Pictures' upcoming Spider-Man movie, "No Way Home" is grabbing eyeballs like no one else ever before. The Tom Holland-fronted has confirmed Spiderverse and this has triggered many rumours around its plot and the actors who are going to feature in this most-awaited MCU film.
There have been rumours that Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, the first two Spider-Man heroes, will also be making their return in the upcoming film. While Marvel and the actors in question have spoken against their return on many occasions, the recent leaks (unconfirmed) from the sets are hinting that both Garfield and Tobey will appear in the climax of the film.
Meanwhile, Simu Liu, who led Marvel Studios' "Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings", takes a hilarious dig at the so-called "No Way Home" leaks and teases Andrew Garfield's inclusion in the film. The actor took to Twitter and shared a screenshot from "Shang-Chi" featuring himself alongside Awkwafina, and teased people to look at the picture closely and they will not find Garfield in it.
"Check out this exclusive screenshot. If you look reaallllly closely you can clearly see that Andrew Garfield is definitely not in it", he wrote and also informed his fans that "Shang-Chi" is coming to Disney+ this Friday after creating the box office records.
"Spider-Man: No Way Home", directed by Jon Watts, stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man alongside Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, Alfred Molina as Doctor Octopus, Jamie Foxx as Electro, Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin, and Thomas Haden Church's Sandman in key roles. It is scheduled to release on December 17.
