Mumbai, December 24 - To the much delight of the fans, the latest Spider-Man flick, "No Way Home" marked the return of Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man, for the first time since "The Amazing Spider-Man 2".

From the last few months, there were constant chatters about Garfield making his comeback in "No Way Home", though Sony along with the actor himself continued to deny the possibility of his return in the franchise again. And now, we all know who was right.



According to screen geek, Sony Pictures is reportedly planning to bring back the character after he was so positively received in the new MCU film. Since the Marvel Cinematic Universe is focussing on the multiverse concept in its upcoming movies, there is a possibility of Garfield returning in the future Spider-Man films.

The multiverse concept allowed Marvel/Sony to bring back not only Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man but also Tobey Maguire's take on the character in "No Way Home". As such, it seems as though there is no shortage of possibilities for any of the characters moving forward. After Garfield's redemption in "No Way Home", it looks like the actor's Spider-Man will be here to stay.

Meanwhile, Tom Holland's "Spider-Man: No Way Home" is currently playing in theaters worldwide.
