Bengaluru, December 27 - It has been a year to savor for the Kannada film industry, and Rakshit Shetty and Rishab Shetty played pivotal roles in igniting box office with their respective blockbuster films, 777 Charlie and Kantara.

"777 Charlie", a feel-good adventure comedy-drama, grossed over 100 crores worldwide, on the other hand, "Kantara" did wonders and stunned one and all by grossing over 400 crores globally. Now, the latest rumor in the trade is that the blockbuster duo will be reuniting for a film.



Last year, Hombale Films announced Richard Anthony - Lord Of The Sea with Rakshit Shetty headlining it along with the direction. Rishab Shetty has been rumored to be approached to play a key role in the action-packed drama. The pre-production work of the film is currently going on and it will go on floors in 2023.

Rakshit and Rishab previously teamed up for "Ricky" (2016) and "Kirik Party" (2016), which were headlined by Rakshit and directed by Rishab. The fans of the two Shettys are now hoping that the two of them, who have made it to the top from the scratch, get together and produce magic.

Rishab Shetty will next be seen in "Bell Bottom 2" while Rakshit has "Sapta Sagaradaache Ello" in the pipeline.
