Baltimore, August 17, 2023 - On August 17, 2023, Ring of Honor presented the twenty-fourth episode of ROH TV on Honor Club.

The main event featured the return of Stokely Hathaway to the ring, teaming up with Samoa Joe to face off against The Boys.



ROH TV (8/17/2023): Match Results

-Gravity emerged victorious against Gringo Loco.

-In a Pure Rules Match, Josh Woods triumphed over Silas Young.



-Backstage, Maria Kanellis-Bennett delivered a promo where she expressed her belief that the wrestling business demands more despite her hardships. Kanellis shared her intention to assemble an army to protect her "kingdom," which is why she was scouting talent. Leyla Hirsh confronted Kanellis and requested a tougher challenge, leading to Kanellis arranging a match between Hirsh and Rachael Ellering.

-In a Proving Ground Match for the ROH Women's Championship, Athena (c) successfully defended her title against Brittany J.

-After the match, The Renegades (Robyn Renegade & Charlette Renegade) attacked Athena, but Billie Starkz came to her rescue. Billie Starkz was set to face Charlette Renegade later in the evening. Samoa Joe & Stokely Hathaway emerged victorious against The Boys (Brent Tate & Brandon Tate). Billie Starkz was interviewed backstage; she expressed her lack of awareness regarding Athena's situation. The Renegades then confronted Starkz, stating their intention to deal with her later. Gates of Agony (Kaun & Toa Linoa) (accompanied by Prince Nana) defeated Christopher Daniels & Matt Sydal.



-Madison Rayne secured a victory against Dani Mo.

-Dark Order (Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds & John Silver) defeated Isaiah Broner, Lord Crew & Corey Calhoun, with Stu Grayson observing the match from the ramp.

-ROH World Wrestling Champion Claudio Castagnoli delivered a promo addressing the discussions about his absence from ROH Television. Castagnoli reflected on his two title reigns, acknowledging the need to relinquish what he cherished. He asserted that his role as champion is to prevent contenders like Eddie Kingston, Mark Briscoe, PAC & others from attaining the title. Castagnoli warned potential challengers that they must surpass him.

-Cole Karter emerged victorious against Griff Garrison.

-Billie Starkz defeated Charlette Renegade (with Robyn Renegade).

-Following the match, Athena intervened to save Starkz from The Renegades' attack. Athena and Starkz joined forces to fend off The Renegades before leaving the ring together.

-Tony Nese & Ari Daivari were interviewed backstage by Lexy Nair. Nese ridiculed North Carolina's health statistics.

-Lee Johnson, Darius Martin & Action Andretti faced off against Lee Moriarty & WorkHorsemen.

Athena & Billie Starkz were interviewed backstage. Athena referred to Starkz as her "minion" and Starkz challenged The Renegades to a tag team match for the following week. Athena hesitated but agreed to discuss it later, playfully telling Starkz to "take her to the mall."

-Lady Frost secured a victory against Trish Adora (with Carlie Bravo & Shawn Dean).

-Kiera Hogan was interviewed by Lexy Nair, where she called out Lady Frost and expressed her intention to "dominate" her.

-Leyla Hirsh emerged victorious against Rachael Ellering.

-Dalton Castle defeated "Pretty" Peter Avalon.

-Shane Taylor was interviewed by Lexy Nair backstage. Taylor expressed his desire to re-establish his legacy in ROH after a six-year absence and issued a warning to Samoa Joe, vowing to knock him out and reclaim the ROH Television Championship.

-Tony Nese's plans for "Group Training" were interrupted by Jerry Lynn. Lynn revealed that Nese would face Metalik in the evening's Main Event.

-Metalik emerged victorious against Tony Nese (with Ari Daivari).
