Pooja Entertainment Confirms Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff's 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' With Release Date

Mumbai, February 8 - It's finally happening. The two biggest action stars of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar, and Tiger Shroff are coming together for the first time and director Ali Abbas Zafar's action-comedy "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan", to be produced by Bhagnanis' production house Pooja Entertainment.

The title of the film is taken from Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda's 1998 blockbuster film, however, it is not a remake and will be made on an original script. Written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the upcoming "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" is an out-and-out action entertainer with some comic moments.



Veteran producer Vashu Bhagnani said, "It's a film very close to my heart as it brought together two legends Amit Ji and Govinda and was directed by my favorite Davidji. It is heartening to see my ChoteMiyan Jackky recreate that magic along with Ali Abbas Zafar who has a brilliant vision for the film. I am so humbled to have Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff be our BadeMiyan and ChoteMiyan for a new generation of audiences in 2023".

"Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" is touted to be the biggest action film in Bollywood produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani, Himanshu Kishan Mehra, and Ali Abbas Zafar under the banners of Pooja Entertainment and AAZ films.

The movie will have a Pan-India release in five languages - Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam on Christmas 2023. Both Akshay and Tiger took to Twitter and announced the film with a video. The video gives a glimpse of what the audience is going to experience in the film.





Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar has a never-ending line-up of films including Prithviraj, Ram Setu, Bachchan Pandey, Gorkha, Mission Cinderella, Raksha Bandhan, OMG 2. Tiger Shroff, on the other hand, has Heropanti 2, Baaghi 4, and Ganapath Part 1, which is also produced by Pooja Entertainment. Ali Abbas Zafar has two projects lined up - one with Katrina Kaif and another one with Shahid Kapoor.
