The NXT Women's division has seen a resurgence in recent years, and Roxanne Perez credits Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels for its success.

In an interview with Denise Salcedo during WrestleMania media day, Perez expressed her appreciation for Michaels' booking strategies. "He's so awesome at making sure that all of these women get the spotlight," she said. "It's really cool that you get to compete and have these storylines."



This focus on giving every woman a chance to shine has revitalized the division, according to Perez. "We want this one to be better, we want this one to be better," she said, referencing the competitive spirit amongst the female wrestlers. "It's friggin awesome... I love to see it each and every single week."

Perez is currently embroiled in a heated rivalry with NXT Women's Champion Lyra Valkyria. Their NXT Stand And Deliver clash promises to be a highlight of the event. The animosity between the two boiled over on Tuesday's NXT, with Valkyria putting Perez through a table.
