Mohanlal's Pan India Movie 'Vrushabha' Locks Female Lead Cast

Mumbai, July 15 - The makers of Malayalam superstar Mohanlal's Pan India movie "Vrushabha" has locked the female lead cast. Directed by Nanda Kishore, who directed the hit Kannada movie "Pogaru", the film is an epic action-entertainer transcending generations.

The makers have roped in Shanaya Kapoor and Pop Diva Zahrah S Khan to play the female lead opposite Telugu actor Roshann Meka in the movie. Shanaya plays a pivotal role that bridging the gap between the past and present timelines of this film while Zahrah plays a warrior princess and has some major action scenes in the film.



The movie will be produced by Abhishek Vyas, Vishal Gurnani, Juhi Parekh Mehta of AVS Studios, Shyam Sunder of First Step Movies, Ektaa R Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor of Balaji Telefilms, and Varun Mathur of Connekkt Media. It begins filming later this month.

Shanaya Kapoor said, "I am highly excited to face the camera and begin shooting. There will be so much to learn and explore from this film. The storyline is a fascinating one that has stayed with me. Also, the film has all the big names associated with it and is being made on a massive scale. It's the kind of role any young actor would be excited, and inspired to play, especially so early in one's career. It's a dream come true. And with Mohanlal sir on board, I feel honored to be a part of Vrushabha. I feel extremely grateful".

Zahrah S Khan added, "Vrushabha, being my debut Pan-India release, is a dream come true. I've always wanted to be a part of a film with such high-level performers like Mohanlal sir and to share screen space with him is a treat for me as an actor. The look of the film and the scale is huge from the periodic section to the present day. I'm very excited to be paired with Roshan as I feel he's got such a striking screen presence. I'm eagerly waiting for everyone to see my character and the way it's been shaped up; the credit goes to our director Nanda sir. I can't wait for everyone to see this epic film come to life".



The Malayalam-Telugu bilingual movie, "Vrushabha will have a grand Pan India release in 2024 in Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada, languages.
