Mercedes Mone's AEW Debut Match Set for Double or Nothing

The anticipation for Mercedes Mone's in-ring debut in AEW heightened considerably during this week's episode of Dynamite in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Willow Nightingale, in an interview with Renee Paquette, expressed her confidence and readiness to capture the TBS Championship from Julia Hart at the upcoming AEW Dynasty event. However, her moment was cut short by a surprise arrival.



Mercedes Mone, making a bold entrance, addressed Nightingale. While wishing her luck against Hart, Mone declared herself the next challenger for the TBS Championship, regardless of the Dynasty outcome.

Commentary confirmed this as Mone's official challenge for the Double or Nothing pay-per-view, scheduled for May 26th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. AEW Dynasty takes place two weeks prior in St. Louis.

While this is the first confirmed match for Mone, the possibility of her appearing in the ring before Double or Nothing remains open.
