WWE's LA Knight isn't buying The Rock's assertion that his return single-handedly made wrestling cool again.

The Rock, on Instagram back in March, declared professional wrestling "exciting once again" and attributed the resurgence to his own comeback. This didn't sit well with Knight, who offered a more nuanced take on "Busted Open Radio."



Knight acknowledges the star power The Rock brings, but argues wrestling's cool factor was already on the rise before his return. He highlights the packed houses and strong business even before The Rock's involvement.

Knight doesn't deny The Rock's potential to further elevate the industry, but emphasizes wrestling's momentum wasn't solely created by him.
