Kazuchika Okada Shockingly Joins The Elite In Dramatic AEW Dynamite Segment

In a jaw-dropping turn of events on the latest episode of AEW Dynamite, wrestling legend Kazuchika Okada made a surprise debut, aligning himself with The Young Bucks and leaving fans worldwide in a state of disbelief.

As The Young Bucks prepared to unleash their signature "EVP trigger" on Eddie Kingston, Okada emerged, seemingly poised to come to Kingston's aid. However, in a shocking twist, Okada planted a devastating "Rainmaker" on Kingston, instead siding with The Bucks.



Prior to Okada's arrival, Matt and Nick Jackson, members of The Elite, addressed the group's internal struggles. They announced the indefinite suspension of Adam Page following his actions against a referee at AEW Revolution. Additionally, citing a lack of commitment due to his ongoing absence, The Young Bucks fired Kenny Omega from the faction. Omega had previously announced an indefinite hiatus in December 2023.

Following the segment's conclusion, AEW President Tony Khan officially confirmed Okada's signing with the company, declaring him "All Elite" on social media.

Okada's arrival in AEW sends shockwaves through the wrestling world. Having spent the majority of his career in New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), Okada established himself as one of the industry's most celebrated wrestlers. During his 15-year tenure with NJPW, Okada captured the prestigious IWGP World Heavyweight Championship a record-breaking seven times and headlined numerous major events for the promotion.
