Ishqbaaz Actress Shrenu Parikh Talks About Her Experience Of Dealing With The COVID-19

One of the leading actors of Star Plus's show Ishqbaaz, Shrenu Parikh was recently diagnosed with the Coronavirus and was admitted to a hospital in Vadodara. However, the actress has now almost recovered and back home and is quarantining as a precautionary measure.
Now, the 30-year-old opens up about her experience of dealing with the COVID-19. In an exclusive chat with ETimes, she shared that despite barely stepping out from her home for five months and taking all the precautions she got infected with this virus. In her road to recovery, Shrenu further stated the value of life and how she put up a brave face in front of her parents but couldn't hold back her tears while speaking to her Ishqbaaz girls.
While talking about how she knew she got infected, She said that initially, she had a bit of cough that she assumed was normal viral. After a few days, she had a fever that made her a little worried. However, despite all the symptoms, she was in denial mode that she had this virus until she lost her sense of smell.
When she got the news of her came positive, she informed her parents and asked them not to panic. She also informed everyone who had come in contact with her to get themselves tested. Luckily, all of them tested negative including her parents and she thanked God for that because she was feeling guilty and responsible.
The actress shared that she spent 7 days in the hospital before getting discharged and asked for a strict quarantine at home for next 7 days. While speaking about the hospital staff, she stated that they are no less than God. They were taking care of her properly and were so nice and not being negative. Saluting their commendable efforts, Shrenu Parikh couldn’t be more grateful for them.
While pointing out at the value of life, Shrenu said that a lot of people hide about being covid positive only because of sheer stigma or their neighbors' badmouth. She stressed that more than the virus people are scared of the stigma that comes with the virus.
She further thanked her fans for the immense support, love, and prayers.
