Huge Update On LA Knight Contract Situation
More things have come around about LA Knight's WWE contract.
According to Fightful Select which now re-confirms the report, previously reported by PWInsider, WWE has started talking to LA Knight about extending his contract for several more years. The report states that Knight has locked in a deal that is set to last until late 2024 or early 2025.
PWInsider reported that they were in the process of making a new deal with LA Knight. Now, per Fightful Select, WWE attempted to place contract offers, but LA Knight and his representatives countered some of those offers. There have been reports that WWE was delaying LA Knight's push until he signed a new contract, even though his current one still had over a year remaining.
Knight made his main roster debut back in 2022 and he has since been one of the top stars on the roster. Knight was first presented in a villainous role as he was the manager of his new stable, "Knight Model Management." His first television debut happened on the brand under the ring name Max Dupri.
Later on, Knight embarked on a singles journey with no one on his side and quickly rose to fame with some of his top funds such as Bray Wyatt, Ricochet, and many more. Despite his poor win percentage, but popularity among the fans started increasing.
One of the massive victories since making his main roster debut came when he eliminated Sheamus to win the Slim Jim Battle Royal at SummerSlam this year. His most recent win came At Payback where he defeated The Miz with John Cena as the surprise special guest referee.
