Huge Title Match Confirmed For AEW Battle Of The Belts III

Cesaro left WWE and made his long-awaited AEW debut at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view event. Since then, he has become a mainstay of AEW television. He is also set to defend his title in AEW Battle of the Belts III.







Now known as Claudio Castagnoli, he defeated Jonathan Gresham to become the new ROH World Champion in the Death Before Dishonored pay-per-view.






During Friday's fight for The Fallen edition of AEW Rampage, it was announced that Claudio Castagnoli would be defending his ROH World Championship against Kenosuke Takeshita. It is Claudio's first title since winning the title last week.






The Battle of the Belts III will be taped next Friday, August 5 from the Van Del Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Then the one-hour special airs the next night, Saturday, August 6 at 8 p.m. ET. We have to see who wins the match.
