Hangman Page has made a triumphant return and is eager to settle scores.

On the January 3 episode of AEW Dynamite, just before the main event, Hangman Page emerged, interrupting Matt Menard, who was in conversation with Renee Paquette. Page expressed his desire to confront and defeat someone. In the subsequent main event, Swerve Strickland emerged victorious against Daniel Garcia.



Following the match, Hangman Page confronted Swerve in a dramatic showdown. A fierce exchange of blows ensued between the two, escalating into a brawl that required officials to intervene and bring the chaotic situation under control, marking the conclusion of Dynamite.

Hangman Page had been sidelined on the December 13 episode of AEW Dynamite after an attack orchestrated by the Devil and his associates. The revelation unfolded that Adam Cole, accompanied by Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Wardlow, and Roderick Strong, comprised the group. This assault transpired shortly after Samoa Joe accused Hangman of embodying the Devil.

The rivalry between Swerve and Hangman unfolded over the final months of 2023, culminating in a hard-fought Texas Deathmatch, ultimately claimed by Swerve.
