A heated exchange backstage on AEW Dynamite has set a singles match for the upcoming Rampage this Friday, March 29th. Dustin Rhodes will step back into the ring for a one-on-one encounter against The Butcher.

This will mark Rhodes' first foray into singles competition since his six-man tag team outing alongside The Von Erichs on February 16th's episode of Rampage.



The nature of the backstage confrontation that led to this match remains undisclosed, but it has clearly stoked the fire for a potential grudge match.

AEW Rampage airs every Friday at 10 pm ET on TNT in the United States. It is AEW's second weekly television show, positioned behind their flagship show, Dynamite.
