CM Punk Gives Update On His Surgery During WrestleMania XL Press Event

CM Punk has provided fans with an update on his surgery.

After a considerable hiatus, Punk made his return to the WWE ring for his first televised match since 2014, appearing in the 2024 Royal Rumble. There was significant anticipation surrounding Punk's potential victory in the Royal Rumble, yet WWE surprised many by granting Cody Rhodes two consecutive wins instead.



Unfortunately, the aftermath of the event revealed that Punk had suffered a torn right triceps, an injury that has sidelined him and dashed his hopes of competing at WrestleMania XL.

During the WrestleMania XL Press Event, Punk appeared as a member of the hosting panel with his arm bandaged up. He mentioned undergoing surgery but admitted he's still not operating at full capacity.

“Well, it sucks,” he began, as he showed his arm in a protective brace over his suit jacket. “I am one week from surgery today and it’s still not 100 percent, so I’m a little upset about it.”
