Seth Rollins, one of WWE's top stars, will be taking time off to heal an injured knee, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.

The exact timeline for Rollins' return is unknown, but Meltzer did report that the injury is related to his previously reported torn MCL and partially torn meniscus, which he suffered in a match against Jinder Mahal in January.



While Rollins was able to return for the WrestleMania season after pushing through the initial injury, it appears further rest is now necessary.

This news comes after Rollins competed in two high-profile matches at WrestleMania 40. He teamed with Cody Rhodes on the first night and then defended the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre on the second night.
