Box Office: 'The Greatest of All Time (The GOAT)' Tops 200 Crore In Tamil Nadu; Becomes Third Movie To Do So

Chennai, September 21 - Thalapathy Vijay's action thriller The Greatest of All Time has emerged as a huge blockbuster in the home state, Tamil Nadu where it has crossed 200 crore gross collection and become only the third movie of all time to archive the feat.

Despite the mixed reviews, The GOAT has been on the rampage mode since it was released on September 5 and has done the unthinkable by entering the 200 crore club in the state. It topped the milestone on its third Saturday (17th day).



Directed by Venkat Prabhu, The GOAT (204 crore gross) is the third movie after Leo (215+ crore gross) and Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1 (213 crore gross) to reach the 200 crore mark in TN. The GOAT has a chance to create history by topping both movies to become the biggest-grosser in the state.

At the worldwide box office, the action thriller has grossed approximately 434 crores, including approximately 280 crores gross in India and 154 crores overseas collection after 17 days. It is the highest-grossing Tamil movie and third highest Indian grosser of 2024 and the 5th highest Tamil grosser of all time.
