Box Office: Gadar 2 First Tuesday/Independence Day Early Estimates

Mumbai, August 15 - Gadar 2 continues its rampage at the box office as it scored its biggest day today, on the occasion of Independence Day domestically. The period action drama film scored a jump of around 5% from the Sunday collection of 51.70 crores net which is simply phenomenal. The film has gone bonkers at the box office and if not for the capacity issues the film would have collected around 15-20% more.

On its first Tuesday/fifth day, Gadar 2 scored an estimated around 55 crores net and might go up to 56 crores which remains to see. The final collection may vary a little bit here and there which remains to see. The mass circuits have seen new highs, especially the ones in the smaller towns of UP, Bihar, and Rajasthan which are the core Hindi circuits and bring back the memories of legendary blockbusters like Sholay, Kranti, and Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. Some theaters which were not even collecting in thousands for other huge films have collected in lakhs for Gadar2 which speaks about its reach and appreciation.



The first Tuesday collections will take the total collections of the film to around 228cr net box office mark depending on where the actual number lands. The film has witnessed its biggest day at the box office ousting its third day. It is also among the biggest single days ever witnessed at the box office and is sure to be among the Top 3 along with two single days of Pathaan but Gadar2 is coming in a clash so in real value the film is probably the biggest ever single day.

Gadar2 has emerged as a blockbuster of epic proportions at the box office which is a rarity in the post-pandemic era. The film is looking to settle around 275cr plus in the first week. The lifetime numbers of Pathaan look very difficult at this moment to cross but the historic first-week business has given the film a platform to do the imaginable.
