Mumbai, June 10 - Superstar Salman Khan team up with director AR Murugadoss for the first time for an action drama film titled Sikandar produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Rashmika Mandanna is playing the female lead with Sathyaraj as the main antagonist. ## The latest update on the film's shoot is that Sikandar will kick off on June 18 in Mumbai. A massive air-action sequence will be filmed in the first schedule before the makers move on to the next schedule. Amrita Rao Joins The Cast Of Jolly LLB 3

Mumbai, June 9 - Director Subhash Kapoor's courtroom comedy drama Jolly LLB 3 starring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi is one of the most anticipated Bollywood movies and the makers are bringing the other actors from the previous two films to headline the third instalment. ## A couple of weeks ago, it was revealed that Huma Qureshi, who was a part of Jolly LLB 2 with Akshay Kumar, returned to reprise her role as Pushpa Mishra and now, actress Amrita Rao has also come on board to play her part in the film. ## Amrita Rao played the female lead in the first movie opposite Arshad Warsi and now she will be reprising her role as Sandhya. According to Hindustan Times, "Amrita is returning as Arshad's wife in Jolly LLB 3, continuing their story from the first part. With her entry, it's a complete unification of Jolly LLB 1 and 2 cast".## Saurabh Shukla, who was in both the previous movies, will continue his character in the third one as Judge Sunderlal Tripathi. Mumbai, June 8 - Earlier this year, it was reported that Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor would be headlining OMG 2 director Amit Rai's next film on the legendary warrior, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Now, the makers have initiated talks with other actors to come on board. ## According to the report by Pinkvilla, Amit Rai and his team are in talks with Telugu actor Rana Daggubati to play the role of Aurangzeb in the historical drama film. The actor is said to be the top priority of the makers, however, the logistics need to fall in place for the actor to come on board the film. ## It is said that the movie will chronicle key chapters of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's life and the makers plan to treat it as a thriller, as the backdrop of the feature film is more on the lines of a jail-break by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the era gone by rather than treating it as a biopic. ## The shoot of the movie is expected to commence by the end of this year or early 2025. Mumbai, June 8 - Legendary Amitabh Bachchan is all set to play the role of God in the sequel to the 2022 Gujarati movie Fakt Mahilao Maate in which Big B played a prominent role. ## In the sequel, titled Fakt Purusho Maate, Big B will play the cameo role of a God. The family drama is based on the social themes of gender equality and conflict between generations. Jay Bodas who directed the first movie, will helm the sequel with Parth Trivedi. ## This isn't the first time Big B has stepped into the shoes of God for a film. He previously played God in Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra's God Tussi Great Ho (2008).## Fakt Purusho Maate is produced by Anand Pandit and Vaishal Shah and it stars Yash Soni, Mitra Gadhvi, Esha Kansara and Darshan Jariwala. Amitabh Bachchan shot for his cameo on June 6 in the movie which will be released on Janmashtami 2024. ## Fakt Mahilao Maate, which was released in August 2022, was a big box office success with a gross collection of over 20 crores. Chandigarh, June 6 - Actress turned-politician, Kangana Ranaut was slapped by a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) woman constable at the Chandigarh airport on Thursday, according to a report by NDTV. ## Kangana Ranaut was elected as a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha from the Mandi constituency of Himachal Pradesh on the Bhartiya Janata Party ticket. The actress was about to board a flight to Delhi from Chandigarh airport when the incident happened at around 3 PM today. ## It is alleged that Kangana was moving towards the boarding area at the airport to travel to Delhi when the CISF official, Kulwinder Kaur, allegedly argued with her and slapped her. The constable has been identified as Kulwinder Kaur. The CISF Commandant has taken note of the incident and is questioning the constable, per NDTV. ## Kangana won the Lok Sabha elections from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh when the results were declared on June 4. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the movie also stars Vaani Kapoor, and Riteish Deshmukh in prominent roles and is gearing up for release soon. ## Raid 2 is the sequel to 2018's hit crime thriller Raid which was based on the real-life income-tax raid conducted by the officers of the Income Tax Department on Sardar Inder Singh in the 1980s. Ajay Devgn played the role of IRS officer Amay Patnaik and has reprised in the sequel. ## The sequel is also reportedly based on real-life events of a businessman fooling the Income Tax Department for Rs. 100 crore. The Title of 'Love Today' Hindi Remake Revealed

Mumbai, June 2 - One of the biggest Tamil hits of 2022, romantic-comedy Love Today is getting its Hindi remake with Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor in the lead roles while Advait Chandan, who directed Secret Superstar (2017) and Lal Singh Chaddha (2022), is directing it. ## According to the report by Peepingmoon.com, the Hindi remake of Love Today has been titled Loveyapa, named after a term that can be used to describe the combination of love and siyappa. Junaid and Khushi play a deeply-in-love young couple in this quirky love story. ## Produced by Phantom Studios and AGS Entertainment, the shoot of Loveyapa reportedly commenced on May 27 and is currently being shot at Mira Road in Mumbai. The makers are looking to complete the outdoor shoot two weeks before the arrival of the monsoon, as per the report. ## Meanwhile, Junaid Khan is making his debut with YRF's Maharaj which is scheduled to release on Netflix on June 14. He also has Ek Din, a remake of the 2016 Thai film One Day in the pipeline. On the other hand, Khushi Kapoor made her debut with Netflix's Archies and reportedly finished shooting for her second movie Naadaniyaan. ## The original Love Today was directed by Pradeep Ranganathan, who also played the male lead alongside Ivana. The first edition of Cinema Lovers Day took place in September 2022 when ticket prices were kept at just Rs. 75, followed by the next edition in September 2023, and February 2024. ## Cinema Lovers Day has massively benefitted movies by attracting footfalls in large numbers. Earlier this year, Yami Gautam-fronted Article 370 benefitted from this. The upcoming, Mr and Mrs Mahi, starring Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor, is expected to get a boost due to the reduced ticket prices. ## Mr & Mrs Mahi is scheduled to be released on May 31st and the ticket prices will be sold at just Rs. 99/ticket on its opening day.
