Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao's 'Stree 2' Teaser To Be Screened With 'Munjya' In Theaters

Mumbai, June 10 - The teaser of Maddock Films' much-awaited horror-comedy Stree 2 won't be released digitally anytime soon but the makers have given a chance to the audience to watch it on the big screen from June 14.

Directed by Amar Kaushik, the teaser of this Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao-starrer was recently censored with a runtime of 1 minute and 23 seconds, and according to the latest development, it will only be launched in cinemas screening Munjya, which is also Maddock's production and is part of its horror-comedy universe.

Munjya is proving to be a sleeper box office hit after it overperformed in its opening weekend. Stree 2, the next film in producer Dinesh Vijan's horror-comedy universe, is easily one of the year's most anticipated movies and the makers are trying to cash in on the opportunity.

Stree 2 is directed by Amar Kaushik and it is the sequel to 2018's blockbuster film starring Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. The movie will be released on August 30, 2024.
