Ranbir Kapoor And Alia Bhatt's First Time Pairing In 'Brahmastra' Set To Spread Magic At The Box Office

Mumbai, September 8 - The long-in-making and hugely anticipated "Brahmastra" will finally hit the silver screens tomorrow and the film is all set to take a massive opening at the box office. The term massive has been used here considering the situation at the box office as 25-30cr openings are not much but when you factor in the situation of the post-pandemic box office then the opening is definitely going to be massive.## Brahmastra has a pair of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt and both these stars are genuine stars with big box office clout. Ranbir Kapoor just had a huge non-performer in the form of Shamshera but his popularity did not get affected. Alia Bhatt is coming after Gangubai Kathiawadi which was a huge earner again considering the situation and female-centric film. The urban centers will come in hordes on the first day due to this pair while the interior mass audience will drive the film on the first Sunday but the film needs to be liked by them.## This is the first time when the real-life couple, Ranbir and Alia are coming together to headline a feature film. Their off-screen chemistry has beautifully reflected on the screens and it is going to spread magic at the box office.## The trailer of Brahmastra was well received by the audiences and even the songs have become huge hits, especially Kesaria which is a rage among audiences. When you have a good trailer response and hit songs with genuinely popular stars then the film is bound to take a huge opening which Brahmastra is likely to be which is already showing in advance booking of the film as the film is competing against the biggest advances for Hindi films like War, Thugs Of Hindostan and Tiger Zinda Hai. ## Brahmastra will have one of the grandest releases ever in terms of the number of screens and shows. The national chains have already seen a huge rush for the tickets and there is no doubt when the film hit the screens the response will be the same. The good thing is that the advance booking is good even in the tier2 and tier3 cities which is a sign of a real grosser if it gets an appreciation. ## More than the opening and the weekend collections, The final lifetime collections of the film will be going to determine the shape of the industry and where it is moving. The cost of the film is humongous due to the delay in production several times. The industry sees a 300cr grosser as a mega grosser and Brahmastra should be looking for this number when the lifetime collections are tallied.## Stay tuned...

Vikram Vedha Trailer Talk: The Epic Face-Off Between Hrithik Roshan And Saif Ali Khan Promises Thrilling Theatrical Watch

Mumbai, September 8 - The trailer of the long-awaited action thriller Vikram Vedha has been dropped, and needless to say, the trailer is making waves across social media, trending at the top. The remake of the Tamil blockbuster of the same name seems to have evoked excitement among the audiences with the trailer, something that Bollywood films were lacking post-pandemic. ## In the film, Saif Ali Khan plays the role of a cop named Vikram while Hrithik Roshan packs a punch as a gangster named Vedha. A modern retelling of the classic folktale 'Baital Pachisi', "Vikram Vedha" trailer is the perfect mixture of action, dialogues, and background music, which promises to be the biggest USP of the film. ## Directed by the original Vikram Vedha's director duo Pushkar & Gayatri, the upcoming film is full of suspense and thrilling moments. Showcasing the face-off between a tough cop Vikram (Saif Ali Khan) and a dreaded gangster Vedha (Hrithik Roshan), the film underlines 'Between Good & Evil, what you choose, defines you'.## ## Even though those who have watched the original know what the story is all about, the gripping tension of the trailer makes one and all curious about the Hindi treatment of this blockbuster film.## The fact that the trailer of "Vikram Vedha" leaves a mark and excites the audiences, the makers can now go all out in the promotion to keep the buzz high till the release. The movie, however, still going to take a big start at the box office and makers can make it even bigger with the right promotion and promos. ## Jointly produced by YNOT Studios, Friday Filmworks, T-Series Films, and Reliance Entertainment, the film stars Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte, and Rohit Saraf along with Sharib Hashmi, Satyadeep Mishra, and Yogita Bihani in key roles. It is slated to be released in theatres on September 30.## Stay tuned...

'Brahmastra Part One: Shiva' Opening Day Box Office Prediction

Mumbai, September 8 - The game is about to begin and the moment industry has been waiting for for a long time is finally around the corner as arguably the biggest Bollywood film of all time, Brahmastra Part One: Shiva is releasing tomorrow in theaters worldwide. ## With so much at stake, the makers of this fantasy adventure have left no stone unturned to promote the film and make it reach each and every person in the country which seems to be paying off. The entire industry was having some nervy moments earlier, which might have settled down a bit looking at the excellent response in the advance sales, which is the biggest for a Bollywood movie post-pandemic. ## There were many doubts regarding the opening of the film at the box office as it has been the latest Bollywood movie being targeted by the boycott gang. However, it seems the boycott calls for the movie has gone for the toss as it is eying the biggest opening post-pandemic. ## Looking at the advance booking trend, "Brahmastra" is set for a minimum of 30 crores start and this number, in all probability, could go further if the talks are positive. Akshay Kumar's Sooryavanshi scored 26.29 crores on the first day, which is the highest so far for Bollywood films since the resumption of cinemas post-pandemic. ## Brahmastra is on the line and bracing for the final kill to surpass Sooryavanshi's opening day figures to become the biggest Bollywood opener since Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's War in 2019. ## The advance booking of Brahmastra is strong throughout the first weekend, and this ensures an excellent opening weekend for the movie at the box office. If the talks are positive, then Brahmastra could become one of the biggest Indian grosser of the year. It will release over 8000 screens worldwide, including 3000 screens in the international markets, to be released by Disney. ## Produced by Dharma Productions, Starlight Pictures, and Prime Focus in association with Star Studios, the movie stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni in prominent roles. It is scheduled to release on September 9 in Hindi along with dubbed versions of Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages on 2D, 3D, and IMAX screens.## Stay tuned...

"My scripting is almost done. It's a big-budget film. The challenge for me is that in today's day and age, people are aware of and watch superhero films from all over the world. These superhero films are made on very big budgets. Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan Opens Up On Why Most of The Bollywood Films Are Not Working At The Box Office

Mumbai, September 6 - Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, who gave India its first big screen superhero "Krrish", opened up on the sluggish response to most of the Bollywood movies at the box office post-pandemic. Rakesh Roshan, whose next film will be "Krrish 4", revealed where Bollywood filmmakers are going wrong which is resulting in the failure of their films. ## During an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Rakesh Roshan said that the filmmakers of Hindi cinema are not making films to which a large audience can relate. He also slammed the filmmakers for not giving enough attention to the songs in the movies, which, many believe, used to be Bollywood's USP. ## "That is because people are making films that they and their friends like to watch. They are picking subjects that appeal to a very minuscule section of the audience. A big chunk of the audience cannot relate to it", he said when asked why Hindi films have not worked at the box office recently. ## "Another major problem is that the songs are going out of the film. Earlier, there used to be 6 songs. These songs would help the actors turn into superstars. Whenever you listen to old classics, you remember the heroes who were featured in those songs. Nowadays, since there are no songs, toh hero yaad nahi aate hai. As a result, becoming a superstar is very difficult at present", he added. ## Post-pandemic, South Indian films have worked really well at the box office and a few of them have also done very good business in the Hindi market. Rakesh Roshan said that the filmmaker in the South are "still sticking to rooted stories and they are presenting them in a very upgraded way, keeping in mind the commercial sensibilities". ## "Our Bollywood filmmakers have drifted away from the roots of Indianness. They try to make so-called 'modern cinema' but it works with only 1% of the population. It does not cater to B and C centers. So if you pick subjects that cater to the C, B, and A centers and present them in a very novel way, it'll appeal to everyone", he added. ## Stay tuned...

It is speculated by the Trade analyst that it may very well touch the 30 cr + opening mark if the booking rate remains the same.## All eyes of the industry are now set on this Ayan Mukerji directorial. If it managed to secure a bumper opening despite all the negativity surrounding the movie, then this will be an affirmation that boycott campaigns have less say in the actual verdict of the movie. ## Recent trends have shown clearly that people prefer to watch those movies on big screens which offer magnificent visuals and deliver something unique in terms of quality. The film is scheduled to hit screens worldwide on September 9. ## Stay tuned...
