In this process, the actor has acquired the rights to Amish Tripathi's bestselling novel, The Immortals of Meluha, under his banner, Maa Kasam Films. According to the report by Pinkvilla, Ranveer has partnered with Birla Studios to develop the mythological epic as a grand-scale trilogy. The project is being envisioned as a large-scale cinematic franchise. Released in 2010, The Immortals of Meluha reimagines Lord Shiva as a human hero whose journey eventually transforms him into a divine figure.
