Producer Vikram Malhotra Denies Reports Suggesting Akshay Kumar's Hindi Remake of 'Soorarai Pottru' Is Titled 'Startup'

Mumbai, June 12 - Akshay Kumar has been shooting for the Hindi remake of the Tamil movie "Soorarai Pottru" with Radhika Madan playing the female lead. While the shooting of the film has already been commenced, the makers haven't revealed the title of the movie yet. ## Since yesterday (June 11), the social media is buzzing up with the rumors about the title of the movie as reports from trade sources suggested that the Hindi remake of 'Soorarai Pottru' will be titled 'Startup'. However, this has been turned down by the producer Vikram Malhotra as he denied such development.## According to ETimes, Vikram Malhotra has confirmed that the title for the Hindi remake of "Soorarai Pottru" has not been fixed yet. The report further stated that the title of this much-awaited film will be different from what is trending on social media. ## The Hindi remake is being directed by Sudha Kongara who also helmed the original one starring Suriya in the lead role. Box Office: Samrat Prithviraj Second Saturday Early Estimates

Mumbai, June 11 - Samrat Prithviraj starring Akshay Kumar in the titular role has failed at the box office as the film is collecting very low figures on the daily basis. The only positive of the film is that it had a decent run in a few single-screen cinemas. The early estimated collections of Samrat Prithviraj on its second Saturday are around 2.30 crores net which will be around 25% up from yesterday but now these jumps hardly matter as the film is collecting too low now. Mumbai, June 6 - Bollywood's young action star, Tiger Shroff may have delivered the biggest disaster of his career in the form of the recently released "Heropanti 2", but he continues to remain the favorite of producers. Tiger currently has two films with Pooja Entertainment and now, as per reports, he has signed one more film with the studio. ## The actor has been shooting for Vikas Bahl's "Ganapath", which is scheduled to release in December this year. Mumbai, June 5 - Samrat Prithviraj is heading towards its best day at the ticket window as the film is expected to score over 16 crores net on the first Sunday. The collections could escalate a bit if the performance in single screens comes out better than expected. At this time Samrat Prithiviraj is heading for a 16-16.50cr net, as per the early estimates. The growth from Saturday is almost 30% which is a huge jump but for Samrat Prithviraj, you cannot use huge growth as the first two days underperformed. If the film was coming after a 40cr first two days collections then a 30% jump would have been considered big.
