JugJugg Jeeyo First Wednesday Early Estimates; Decent Hold
Mumbai, June 29, 2022: JugJugg Jeeyo starring Anil Kapoor and Varun Dhawan is heading towards a decent day at the ticket window as the early estimate collections are set to be in the 4cr range. The drop from yesterday is approx 13-14% which although is not a big drop but for a film like JugJugg Jeeyo that could not perform as expected in the first weekend, The drop is big. The first Wednesday collections will take the entire collections of the film over 50cr net box office collections. The first week of business of the film is set to be in the range of 54cr (+/-) net box office collections. Varun Dhawan had far bigger first weeks than JugJugg Jeeyo but all of them were released in pre-pandemic times. The box office has changed after the pandemic, especially for a word-of-mouth multiplex film like JugJugg Jeeyo. The film has performed better than the likes of Jersey, Heropanti2, Runway34, JayeshBhai Jordaar, and Samrat Prithviraj but if you compare it to Bhool Bhulaiya 2 then the film has underperformed. Both Bhool Bhulaiya 2 and JugJugg Jeeyo are in a similar zone of films though Bhool Bhulaiya 2 was more for a mass audience than JugJugg Jeeyo with an added advantage of sequel of a superhit film. A lifetime business of over 80cr would mean JugJugg Jeeyo is a decent performer at the box office. The film is faring really well in overseas territories and is among the biggest worldwide weekends of 2022. About This Movie This film is directed by Raj Mehta and produced by Dharma Productions.
