Mumbai, Dec 19, 2021: The Mega release Pushpa: The Rise had emerged as The biggest opener for any Indian film in 2021 and still breaking the Box office records. The film has found a huge appreciation in its local markets. The Allu Arjun fronted Pushpa defeated Vakeel Saab's opening day gross to emerge as the Number 1 opener of this year. ## The film was also released in the Hindi version for the north audience as the makers wanted to achieve the pan-India business for this film but the promotions and the release strategy was weak but due to the appreciation of the film and good-enough popularity of Allu Arjun, Pushpa got a decent first-day figure of over 3cr net. ## The opening day numbers of Pushpa were more than the opening day numbers of previous south films of the same stature released in North India 'KGF' and that's a big achievement for the film as Pushpa numbers are coming in post-pandemic box office days. ## The mass-dominated centers of North belts have seen huge footfalls for the film and they held pretty well for 2nd day as well with strong collections across the single screens. Dec 17, 2021: Being a south Industry fan (also a movie fan), always wanted to see good south movies in Cinema either dubbed Hindi version or English subtitle with the original version. From the first look of Pushpa: The Rise and with the announcement of the Hindi release, already decided to watch Pushpa in the theater. ## And today, the day came, first watched Spiderman: No way Home, enjoy that film too, and then came to second theaters with the only expectations that only 10-15 people will be there in the theater. But I was wrong, When we entered the cinema hall, at least 40-50 people were already there. The final count was 60-70. ## Now, Pushpa Shows started and we forgot that we were watching a dubbed version or original, Dubbing was good but the story of this film was very good and took into the world of Pushpa. ## Then, It was Allu Arjun's show all over, What a Swag, Fighting Scene, Comedy Elements, and most importantly, his body language was enough to entertain throughout the show. I totally loved his character. ## Rashmika Mandana's part was also good and the romance between Allu Arjun and her was taking the story to another level. It was lovely and very realistic in terms of romantic scenes. ## Other characters were also well-written and justified with the movie. ## In the cinema hall, At least, 20-30 times people whistled for Allu Arjun's Swag and on Fight Scenes. The cheering for him was almost constant throughout the show. ## Songs were good even in Hindi dubbing but only 2 songs were not good in Hindi dubbing. Mumbai, September 23: Bollywood filmmakers may be facing criticism for going after remakes of regional movies, but their love affair with remakes seems unending. With over 30 South film remakes already in the various stages of production, Bollywood filmmakers are continuously adding more and more films to this list and proving the critics right that they lack originality and are widely dependent on remakes. ## Speaking about the latest soon-to-be remade in Hindi, Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha Krishnan's Tamil blockbuster "96" was recently confirmed to be remade in Hindi by "Attack" producer Ajay Kapoor and now, there are reports that Nani's one of the most loved Telugu movie "Gang Leader" is also ready for Bollywood makeover. ## According to Peepingmoon, producer Akshai Puri of 12th Street Entertainment has bought the rights to this 2019 Telugu comedy thriller directed by Vikram Kumar. He said to have got the remake rights just last week and will soon set up a team of writers to adapt the screenplay to suit it with Hindi audiences. ## Even before the reports of the Hindi remake of "Gang Leader" came out, this Nani starrer was in news recently after a rumored plot line of Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee's film emerged on social media. Speculations started doing rounds regarding the similarity between two films after a web portal claimed that "Atlee film will be a massive revenge action-entertainer that will have Shah Rukh Khan assembling a team of women, who wanted to seek revenge for their past, to rob something untouchable". ## While it's true that SRK-Atlee's much-anticipated Pan-India offering is a robbery drama, it has nothing to do with Nani's Gang Leader as the film's remake rights are with Akshai Puri. "Gang Leader" revolves around five women who seek the help of a budding crime novelist (played by Nani) to avenge the death of their loved ones.
