Pathaan Third Day/First Friday Early Estimates; Extraordinary Hold

Mumbai, January 27 - Pathaan is simply ripping apart the box office on the third day of its run. The first two days saw record single-day collections but those were helped by the craze and a holiday on the second day, but the extraordinary hold today confirms that the film is a blockbuster. ## The early estimate suggests the movie is heading towards 34-35 crores net on Friday. The drop from yesterday will be around 50% depending on the final numbers. Today is a crucial day for Pathaan as it was a working day but the content and star power of the film defeated that. These are early estimates figures and the final collections could vary but even if it comes slightly lower than 35 crores it will be an outstanding hold.## The 35cr Friday collections will take its entire collections to around 162cr which is a new record for a three-day weekend film and that too by a big margin. The previous three-day weekend record holder was KGF2 at around 140cr while for the Hindi film industry, it was Sanju at around 120cr net and Pathaan obliterated these records. ## Pathaan will see a big jump tomorrow and the film might cross 200cr collections by the end of the day. The five-day extended weekend numbers will be in the range of 250cr give or take 5cr. The first Monday collections will determine whether the film will cross 400cr collections or not. Mumbai, January 26 - Pathaan, which took a mega bumper opening on the first day by collecting 57cr net box office collections in all the versions has gone to another level on its second day which is simply outstanding as the first day itself was the record single day for Bollywood.## Today was a huge national holiday in the form of Republic day and Pathaan being an already-established blockbuster has gone to another level. Excel Entertainment Announces Release Date Of 'Fukrey 3'

Mumbai, January 24 - Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment has confirmed the release date of the long-awaited Fukrey 3. Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, the comedy entertainer will be arriving in theaters during the Janmashtami weekend on September 7, 2023. ## The movie is the third installment of the successful "Fukrey" franchise and stars Pulkit Samrat, Manjot Singh, Ali Fazal, Varun Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, and Richa Chaddha in prominent roles. The franchise revolves around four friends who look for easy ways to make money. ## The makers announced the release date with intriguing first-look posters. Vicky Kaushal To Headline Director Laxman Utekar's Warrior Drama Film

Mumbai, January 23 - Actor Vicky Kaushal will be reuniting with director Laxman Utekar for a historical warrior drama film. The due is currently working on their first collaboration, a social comedy about a married couple opting for the PM Awas Yojana to get a house of their own. Pathaan Pre-Sales Continuing The Blockbuster Streak Of Spy Universe Films

Mumbai, January 23 - The advance booking of Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham's Pathaan which started with a thunderous response has broken every record of Hindi films in terms of collections. The film has already beaten the weekend advance of War which was the previous record holder of Bollywood.## Pathaan is a part of Aditya Chopra's ambitious "Spy Universe" which started with Ek Tha Tiger in 2012. Going back into the database, we found that each film of the spy universe has set booking opening day records when they were released. ## Ek Tha Tiger (2012) was the first film in the universe and that film recorded approx 12 crores in advance business in 2012 which was the highest amount collected before release. The sequel, Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) also emerged as the highest advance booking film with approx 24.75 Cr collections.## War (2019) was the last film of the spy universe and the film had a booking collection of around 26 crores which was a record-breaking advance for any Hindi film. Pathaan currently has approx. 22 crores pre-sales for the opening day and it will go past War to record the highest advance collections. ## Pathaan is set for a mega-release on 25th January worldwide and the film is expected to break many long-standing initial records. Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan Packs Biggest Pre-Sales For A Bollywood Movie In The Opening Weekend

Mumbai, January 23 - The advance booking of Pathaan is continuing with strong momentum. The Shah Rukh Khan-starrer has already scored the biggest pre-sales for a Bollywood movie post the covid-19 pandemic and now, it has scored the biggest advance sales ever for the opening weekend. ## Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan's" advance booking for the 5-day opening weekend is around 47 crores gross (as of Jan. 23), which is the highest-ever for a Bollywood film. It has crossed Anand's own directorial "War" which had minted approx. 42 crores gross advance sales for the opening weekend in 2019. ## "Pathaan" is expected to create a run riot at the box office, at least, for the opening weekend.
