Ranbir Kapoor Respond To A Fan's Question About His Marriage With Alia Bhatt

New Delhi, December 15 - After a long wait, the makers of the superhero adventure film, "Brahmastra" unveiled the first look motion poster of Ranbir Kapoor as Shiva. The poster was launched during an event in New Delhi on Wednesday, in which, Alia Bhatt and director Ayan Mukerji were also present. ## During the event, Ranbir and Alia Bhatt read out some of the fan questions that they had received regarding the Brahmastra and other topics and one of the questions was about their marriage. Ranbir picked up a chit which read when he is going merry Alia Bhatt. ## Ranbir said in response to the question, "In the last 1 year, we have seen a lot of people getting married". He then looked at Alia Bhatt and asked, "when we are getting married". This stunned Alia as she quickly respond that "you are asking me". Ranbir then asked Ayan the same question to which the latter said, "one date is enough for today, the release date of Brahmastra".## Brahmastra, which has been planned as a trilogy, is seen as a game-changing film in the Bollywood film industry. Part 1 of Brahmastra, especially revolves around Ranbir Kapoor's character, Shiva, will be hitting theaters on September 9, 2022, in multiple languages. Kriti Sanon To Headline The Hindi Remake Of Hollywood Blockbuster 'Kill Bill'

Mumbai, December 15 - Actress Kriti Sanon is at the peak of her career at the moment. After delivering the digital blockbuster in the form of "Mimi", the Heropanti actress has an exciting line-up of future projects, and now, she has added one more film to the list. ## Earlier, there were rumours that Kriti would be starring in the Hindi remake of the Hollywood blockbuster film "Kill Bill". Anushka Sharma Back Out From Cricket Legend Jhulan Goswami's Biopic!

Mumbai, December 15 - Actress Anushka Sharma, who was last seen in Anand L Rai's "Zero" opposite Shah Rukh Khan, was supposed to make her comeback with Indian cricket legend Jhulan Goswami's biopic. However, due to the covid-19 pandemic and other reasons, the movie went through major changes, and now, the latest reports suggest that Anushka will no longer act in the film. ## The biopic was supposed to go on floors at the end of 2021, which is not happening as Anushka has backed out from the project, and she will now be a part of the film only as a producer in association with Sony Pictures India. It is reported that Tripti Dimri, who led Anushka's production venture Bulbbul, has replaced her to play Jhulan Goswami in the feature film. ## The biopic will be directed by Prosit Roy, who earlier directed Anushka's 3rd production film, Pari. The biopic is expected to go on floors in the first quarter of 2022 and director Prosit has already started prepping for the biographical sports drama. ## While there is no official confirmation yet from the makers regarding the development but it said that the character demanded extreme physical and mental dedication for months and this was the reason behind Anushka's ouster from the project as she doesn't want to do such a heavy lifting film at this point of his career. ## The movie, which is reportedly titled, Chakdah Express, is an inspiring tale of the world's highest wicket-taker in women's ODIs and one of the greatest woman cricket players ever. Mumbai, Dec 14, 2021: Today completes 20 years of one of the historic hits of this generation "Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham" which was released exactly 20 years ago on 14 December 2001. The ensemble multi-starrer family drama is considered one of the biggest multi-starrer ever made on the Indian-theatrical screens. ## The film featured 3 major stars and although Amitabh Bachchan was past his box office domination days, his popularity remained untouched and he was among the most popular stars of that time. The film also had the current sensation, Hrithik Roshan, the first time sharing the screen with Shah Rukh Khan who was a major established star from the mid-90s. ## Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham had a huge pre-release hype due to its casting and music and as a result, the film took an earth-shattering opening. The film had broken the previous highest opening day record held by Sunny Deol's actioner Indian by more than 30% margin. For Shah Rukh Khan, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham was his 7th Blockbuster along with Darr(1993), Karan Arjun(1995), Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge(1995), Dil Toh Paagal Hai(1997), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai(1998), and Mohabbtein(2000). It was 2nd Blockbuster film for Amitabh Bachchan in Character roles after Mohabbtein. ## Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham was never seen before phenomenon overseas breaking every existing record by huge margins and setting new records which took many years to get broken. Sooryavanshi Is Not Finished Yet

Mumbai, December 13 - Rohit Shetty's "Sooryavanshi" is turning out to be a true box office monster. There have been many films in the past that died down after the first week itself, and then, there is "Sooryavasnhi", which is into its 6th week and still going strong despite limited shows. ## The covid-19 pandemic has posed many challenges in front of the Indian film industry, especially Bollywood. There haven't been many theatrical releases in the last 18 months or so and those released didn't perform up to their potential. Honestly, there haven't been any audience-appealing films that could have forced people to visit theaters. ## However, things changed after the second covid-19 wave as Bollywood decided to step ahead. While many films are still not performing to their potential (not bad either), Sooryavanshi has been exceptional on every front. This Akshay Kumar-starrer was Bollywood's best foot forward to bring the industry back to its strong feet, and not surprisingly, it has performed like that at the box office. ## Released over Diwali weekend, "Sooryavanshi" has had a free run at the box office for at least two weeks and it took full advantage of that by earning over Rs. 165 crores. It is the first Rs. 100 crore Bollywood grosser at the domestic box office during the pandemic. It was expected TBH since it had a star element attached to it, plus, it was mass appealing, which helped it to perform significantly well on single screens. ## After finishing two weeks' run, there was a big challenge for "Sooryavanshi" to carry the momentum because of the new release in form of "Bunty Aur Babli 2" (Nov. 19), and then "SMJ2" (Nov. 25), and "Antim: The Final Truth" (Nov. 26). "Sooryavanshi" passed that challenge with flying colors and netted Rs. 18.68 crores in the 3rd week, followed by Rs. 6.43 crores in the 4th week. And this all happened with Maharasthra cinemas operating with 50% occupancy. ## The 4th week was probably the toughest for "Sooryavanshi" as it had to compete with two mass-oriented films at the box office. It not only rose through that challenge but also maintained that momentum in the 5th week as well as 6th weekend despite new releases in the form of "Tadap" and "Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui". ## "Sooryavanshi" will most probably be finished around Rs. 197 crores India net from the current total of Rs. 195.04 crores after 38 days. The box office run of "Sooryavanshi" might be coming to its end but it has shown the way to the rest of the films. It clearly refused to die down when challenges were thrown to it. Tadap was the launch of Suniel Shetty's son Ahan Shetty and the audience had appreciated his talent whole-heartedly. The film is looking to finish its theatrical run around 28-30cr net collections depending upon the holds of the film in the third week. ## The action-packed love story has been getting an immense amount of love from the audience. Now, to celebrate the success of Tadap the entire cast of the film hosted a success party. The present would be Ahan Shetty, Tara Sutaria, Sunil Shetty, director Milan Lutharia, Sajid Nadiadwala and Warda Nadiadwala hosted a success party for the film. The event was hosted on December 12 at Sajid Nadiadwala’s house. ## Tadap is a remake of the 2018 Telugu romantic-action drama RX 100. Rohit Shetty Opens On The Sequels To Bol Bachchan

Mumbai, Dec 13, 2021: The Director who just delivered a huge money-spinner in the form of Sooryavanshi has just revealed his future line-up of films. While Sooryavanshi is still rolling in the moolah at the box office and all eyes are next on Singham 3 after the not-so-subtle hint dropped by Ajay Devgn during the climax of the Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer. ## However, along with Singham 3 and even Golmaal 5, there are other hit Rohit Shetty movies that are ripe for sequels. So, to get the latest update on what could be but has never been announced, a source got in touch with the blockbuster filmmaker for an exclusive interview where he finally opened up on the possibility of sequels to All The Best and Bol Bachchan. ## Opening up on whether we could ever get an All the Best 2 or a Bol Bachchan 2, Director Rohit Shetty said, “No, I'll have on to stress on the fact that these two years (the COVID-19 and subsequent lockdown phase, where theatres and the industry were affected for almost one and half year), there was a lot of pressure (thinking only about Sooryavanshi. However, even before these two years, I never thought (about sequels to them). This lineup (for his cop universe and Golmaal franchise) is our old lineup, which we are now clearing.” ## Refuting speculation that Singham 3 revolves around Article 370 of the Indian Constitution, he added, “Even I've heard that the story is out, even though I don't know what the story is – that Singham 3 is being made on Article 370, which even I don't know. We have a basic idea for the story, but I can understand (the reports coming out) because of the rage created by Sooryavanshi, so everyone is talking about Singham. However, there's a lot of time for it...if you see, there's at least one year left for Singham (3) to begin. It won't start before a year (from now. Box Office: Ayushmann Khurrana's Content Driven 'Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui' Hits A Fair Weekend

Mumbai, December 13 - Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor-starrer "Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui" has had a fairly healthy opening weekend at the box office. ## "Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui" has had a decent start on Friday with the opening day collection of Rs. 3.75 crores. However, as it often happens with Ayushmann's film, the movie grew over the weekend, thanks to the strong word of mouth from critics and audiences. ## It jumped by 29.87% (biggest 2nd-day jump during covid-19 for a Hindi movie) for Rs. 4.87 crores on Saturday and then, another 21.36% jump on Sunday for Rs. 5.91 crores to finish the opening weekend Rs. 14.53 crores India net. The movie is heading towards Rs. 23-24 crores in the first week.## Released over 2500 screens in India, "Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui" dominates metro multiplexes, Delhi, NCR, and Chandigarh while it also witnesses growth in Mumbai, Pune, and Bengaluru. Overseas, the Abhishek Kapoor-directed has so far grossed approx Rs. 2.85 crores. It released over 500 screens outside India. ## Ayushmann Khurrana has once again hit the ball out of the park by picking up another hard-hitting content-driven out-of-box script, but it is Vaani Kapoor, who is equally getting praised for putting a strong performance. Not only the director but also the next movies of the main stars associated with that film expect the audience to be better than the previous film. ## I have written these lines because the film that we will talk about today had similar expectations from the audience to the distributors. Today we will talk About the film "Shaan", produced by P. Sippy and directed by his son Ramesh Sippy, released on 12 December 1980. ## Everyone knows that "Sholay" was directed by Ramesh Sippy. Perhaps no cinema lover would be unaware of the box office records of "Sholay". This film proved to be a milestone in the Hindi film industry. The film set such records that an era is counted in the Hindi film industry as a pre-Sholay and a post-Sholay era. ## "Sholay" was also a big-budget film and was made in around 3 crores. Yes, G. P. Sippy and Ramesh Sippy knew very well that now after "Sholay", what are the people's expectations from them, so there was a plan to make "Shaan" on a very big level in every department. ### After the record-breaking box office success of "Sholay", this film was also expected to garner the same success as "Sholay". The makers of the film did a lot of publicity before its release. Big posters of the film were put up in many cities with the words "The Greatest Show on Earth". A similar poster was put up at Minerva Cinema in Mumbai. “Shaan” was replacing Sippy’s previous film “Sholay” after 5 years in Minerva cinema. ## This was happening in cinemas in many other cities. The film's villain's tremendous look, tremendous star cast, gorgeous action sequences, melodious music, item song, and tremendous publicity created such a hype that the booking of the film went up to 2 crores 80 lakhs. This was the biggest advance till that time. The film was released and the film initially made bumper collections. The first week's collections of this film in Mumbai were almost 100%. ## But due to poor mouth publicity of the film, the collections slowly came down. The second-week collections were 89% in Mumbai and 78% in the third week. This film was made on Sholay's double budget of about 6 crores. Due to the bumper success of Sippy's previous film Sholay, the All India Rights of this film was bought by the distributors for about 10.75 crores. Ultimately the distributors suffered a loss of about 3 crores. ## The film was re-released in digital print in April 2005 by Sippy to mark its 25th anniversary. Overall, the film earned a net of around 4.25 crores in India. The gross of the film was eight and a half crores and it was the fifth highest-grossing movie of that year. Rumour: Hindi Remake Of NBK's 'Akhanda' To Be Led By Either Akshay Kumar Or Ajay Devgn!

The movie got NBk's career back on track as the actioner is heading towards Rs. 100 crores worldwide gross. ## Since "Akhanda" caught the attention of every type of audience, several Bollywood producers are reportedly showing interest in grabbing the Hindi remake rights. The rumours are rife that producer Sajid Nadiadwala is looking to remake the film in Hindi and he has reportedly considered either Akshay Kumar or Ajay Devgn to replace NBK.## Though the conversation about the Hindi remake with Akshay and Ajay is still in its initial stage, and one is likely to receive clarity on the same in the coming days.
