Mumbai, December 26 - Dharma Productions' romantic comedy Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, featuring Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Pandey, had a poor opening day at the domestic box office, falling well short of a double-digit opening. Released on a national holiday of Christmas, TMMTMTTM collected 7-8 crores net on day 1. The real collection, however, is even lower, as there are allegations of feeding. Despite the external push, the movie failed to take a respectable opening. It can be said that there is no way forward for the rom-com, as neither word of mouth seems to be proving, nor are the holdover films stopping anytime soon. Mumbai, December 26 - One of the hugely-awaited films of 2026, Drishyam 3 faced a major setback after Akshaye Khanna, who has been basking in the back-to-back successes, reportedly exited from the film, leaving the makers in a major dilemma to fill one of the major characters of the franchise. Earlier, it was reported that the creative differences between the actor and makers led the former to back out of the Ajay Devgn-led film. Now, according to the report by Bollywood Hungama, the big remuneration demand turned out to be the main reason behind the actor's exit. Because of the growing popularity, the actor reportedly demanded 21 crores in fees to feature in Drishyam 3, which took the makers aback. "Akshaye was menacing as the villain in Chhaava, while he stole the show, and how, in Dhurandhar. He has become the next big thing. Realising the same, he decided to revise his fees. Accordingly, he asked for Rs. 21 crores from the makers of Drishyam 3", said the report. Speaking to SITI Cinema, Mithun said in Bengali that Jailer 2 is one such story, with an ensemble of experienced stars joining the superstar. While mentioning the names, the veteran actor revealed that Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh is also a part of the film, alongside Mohanlal, Ramya Krishnan, and Shivarajkumar. Mithun's inclusion of SRK immediately set social media abuzz, with many interpreting it as a confirmation of the Pathaan star's presence in the film. Mumbai, December 25 - Director James Cameron will once again top the Indian box office as Avatar: Fire & Ash has become the highest-grossing Hollywood movie of 2025 in the country in flat one week. Earlier, the maverick filmmaker topped the Hollywood charts in India in 2022 with Avatar: Way of Water, which grossed nearly 500 crores. The third instalment in Cameron's sci-fi epic Avatar franchise grossed approximately 116.50 crores till Wednesday (6 days), and it is looking to collect 15+ crores gross on day 7 to close the first week at 131+ crores. With this, it will cross F1 Movie's 129 crores gross total to become the biggest foreign film of the year in India.
