The first-ever Pitch Black match in the history of WWE takes place at this year's Royal Rumble event which goes live on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. ## This will also notably be Wyatt's first televised match since WrestleMania 37 in April 2021. All the clarity behind the Pitch Black match is in obscurity. During an appearance on the WWE After The Bell podcast on January 4, 2023, Knight said the only thing he knew about the match was that it would essentially be a street fight "kind of in the dark". ## Royal Rumble will stream live at 8 pm ET exclusively on Peacock in the United States and WWE Network everywhere else. ## WWE Royal Rumble 2023: Bray Wyatt Vs. LA Knight Full Match & Highlights ## LA Knight is the first to make the entrance. Bray Wyatt is up next with his long entrance. The glowing paint on Bray looks awesome. Bray sends Knight into the ringside barrier. Bray is sent into the ring post and Knight brings up the ring steps to set them next to the announce table. ## Bray attacks and sends Knight over the ringside barrier. Bray goes for a Suplex onto the table, but Knight saves and drops Bray on the ringsdie barrier. Both are on the ringside barrier and sends Bray through the table with a Flying Side effect. ## Bray sends Knight through the ropes to the floor. This Saturday at the 2023 Royal Rumble event, Roman Reigns defends the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against non-other than Kevin Owens. ## At this event, the rivalry will be reignited from the 2020 TLC match where Owens challenged Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship, and again at Royal Rumble on January 31, 2021, but was defeated both times due to assistance from Jey Uso and Paul Heyman. ## Royal Rumble will stream live at 8 pm ET exclusively on Peacock in the United States and WWE Network everywhere else. ## WWE Royal Rumble 2023: Roman Reigns Vs. Kevin Owens Full Match ## Brace yourself for major disruption on The Island of Relevancy when Kevin Owens challenges Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Royal Rumble. ## The music hits and Kevin Owens his way to the ring first. Up Next is Roman Reigns along with Paul Heyman and Sami Zayn. ## The match starts off and there is a huge chant for Sami Uso. They lock up, Roman Reigns with a Shoulder block to dash down Kevin Owens. Owens is up quickly, they lock up again. Roman Reigns with another massive shoulder block. ## Kevin Owens looks no hurt and he once again locks up, he gets out with a Shoulder block, followed by a Swantom bomb. Owens pummels Roman into the turnbuckle and drills a Cannonball. Roman rolls out of the ring and Owens follows up too. Owens sends Roman into the ringside barrier and clinches a Swantom. ## Roman Reigns with an Irish whip followed by Unrage in the middle of the ring for the cover, but Owens kicks out at two and a half. After getting Owens head onto the rope, Roman goes outside and runs in a Drive-By Kick. ## Both superstars are now in the ring. There is a huge exchange of Forearms. Owens sends Roman over the top ropes and goes for a Frog splash off the apron. Roman Reigns is sent back and Owens goes to the top. Owens with a Frog Splash for near fall. ## Kevin Owens sets up a Superkick, but Roman catches his leg and lands a thunderous Sit-Out-PowerBomb for near fall. Roman goes for a Superman punch, but Owens sides up and kicks. Owens sets up a Cananball, but this Roman is able to land a Superman Punch. ## Roman Reigns with a Spear attempt, but Owens ducks him into the ring post and follows up with a Superkick. Owens goes to the top and drills a massive Swantom for near fall. ## Owens goes for another one, but this time Roman punches him. Owens and Roman are fighting high above. Owens pushes him to the mat. Owens goes for a moonsault from the second rope, but misses and eats a massive Spear from Roman for near fall. ## Roman goes for another Spear and Owens tries to turn into a Stunner. Roman pushes Owens into the referee and he looks hurt. Owens with a Sit-Out-Powerbomb for the cover, but there is no referee. Roman Reigns with a Low-Blow and orders Sami to bring out a chair. ## Sami goes around and searches for it. Sami goes down the ring and pulls out a chair. Owens with a Stunner for the cover, but kicks out nearly. KO went for the Pop Up but got Superman Punched, then speared. Two count only! KO rolled to the floor and is at the feet of Sami. ## Roman Reigns sends Owens' head into the Ring steps. Both are back into the ring. Roman is slapping Owens.
