This Saturday at the 2023 Royal Rumble event, Roman Reigns defends the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against non-other than Kevin Owens. ## At this event, the rivalry will be reignited from the 2020 TLC match where Owens challenged Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship, and again at Royal Rumble on January 31, 2021, but was defeated both times due to assistance from Jey Uso and Paul Heyman. ## Roman Reigns appeared on the latest edition of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and talked about facing off against Kevin Owens at WWE Royal Rumble. ## Roman Reigns was asked about what strategy he holds up against Kevin Owens heading into the Royal Rumble, "Don't change anything. I've been beaten up Kevin Owens for years now. This is a tough sturdy guy, you know and he's a little crazy. He's willing to do anything out there, but I've faced him a few times and I've been pretty successful. ## So for me, you know, I just feel like as long as I don't change anything if it's not broke don't break. So there's more that goes into it than just training in the weight room. It's a 300. The match starts off with punches from both superstars. Bianca advances with a Shoulder in the corner. Bianca with a short Arm clothesline followed by a Hip Toss. Belair gets Alexa on the turnbuckles and punches her. Alexa slams Belair her head first to the mat followed by a Dropkick. ## Alexa hits a Bow and arrow on Belair. Alexa runs some kicks in the corner. There is a double knee strike to the back of Belair in the ropes for a near fall. Alexa goes for another cover after landing some punches. Alexa goes to the turnbuckles and pulls Bianca into the corner by the hair and applies a choke. Bianca runs in a massive boot to the back to send Bliss face-first into the mat. There is a Handspring Moonsault, but Bliss has her knees up. This time, Belair with a moonsault for the cover but doesn't get the win. Belair sets up for the KOD, but Alexa escapes and punches Belair into the middle of the ring. ## Alexa hits a DDT for a near fall. Bliss with a double knee drop for a near fall. Alexa goes for a claw but Bianca blocks it.
