The opening segment of WWE Raw changed Monday. ## According to Fightful Select, Tommaso Ciampa returned on WWE on Monday night defeating The Miz, but he was actually supposed to answer the open challenge of Seth Rollins. The match between Rollins and Ciampa was set to get a ton of time, but was changed multiple times over the weekend prior, and a few hours before the show. ## Internally, the match was listed as TBA vs. Seth Rollins, but was changed to have Rollins attacked and Ciampa to face the Miz. We're told that the move was a Vince McMahon move and all of those originally planned for the match wanted the match to go through as planned. Xavier Woods, one-third of the legendary New Day, has revealed that he would love to celebrate the group's 10th anniversary with a match in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). ## Speaking on the My Love Letter to Wrestling podcast, Woods said that he would like to spend a week in Tokyo, visiting arcades and competing in NJPW matches. ## "I feel like the ten-year anniversary for New Day, my magic wand wish would be we get to go to Tokyo for a week. Spend time in Tokyo arcades for a full week hanging out," Woods said. "And then, as much as we can get, if we can work at other places now. I'm trying to wrestle everybody." ## When asked who he would like to wrestle from other companies, Woods said that he has a long list of dream opponents. ## "There are so many names on the list. It feels weird to start anywhere because I want to start everywhere. If we could legit branch out and wrestle other teams, obviously, the Young Bucks. We'd love a six-man with the Elite. There are so many people. I can't name them." ## Five years ago, New Day battled The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks) in an epic Street Fighter V showdown. The Elite were victorious in the trios arcade action with Omega defeating Woods in the finale. Woods hasn't competed since the May 15 episode of WWE Raw when he lost to Dominik Mysterio. However, he has been active on social media, teasing potential matches with NJPW stars like Will Ospreay and Kota Ibushi. ## It remains to be seen if Woods will get his wish to celebrate the New Day's 10th anniversary with a match in NJPW.
