Directed by Mahesh Babu P (of Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty fame), the film features Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead and music by the duo Vivek-Mervin. The plot follows the journey of Sagar (Ram Pothineni), a die-hard fan whose life revolves around a fictional superstar named Surya Kumar, played by Kannada star Upendra, shifting the focus from typical commercial elevations to a more grounded, character-driven narrative. Early word of mouth is mixed to positive but lacks blockbuster euphoria. While audiences are praising Ram Pothineni’s grounded performance and his emotional dynamic with Upendra, the slow pacing and absence of commercial high moments have reportedly disappointed the core mass audience expecting his usual high-energy actioners. With an opening of ₹4.25 Crore Net, Andhra King Taluka has a runway to build momentum over the coming days.
