Satyadev's Legal Crime Thriller Film, Thimmarusu To Release On July 30 In Theaters

Hyderabad, July 8, 2021: After four back-to-back digital releases, talented Telugu actor Satya Dev's next film will be a theatrical one. The movie, titled "Thimmarasu" is all set to release in theaters on July 30. ## The legal crime thriller film is going to be the first Telugu cinema to hit the cinema halls post the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. Directed by Sharan Koppisetty, Thimmarusu is the remake of the 2019 Kannada film Birbal Trilogy Case 1: Finding Vajramuni which itself was based on the 2017 Korean movie New Trial.## Produced by Mahesh S Koneru and Yarabolu Srujan under East Coast Productions, S Originals, the movie tipped to be a legal crime thriller. It also stars Priyanka Jawalkar and Ajay in the prominant roles. Sricharan Pakala has composed the music of the film. ## Satyadev was last seen in the Netflix anthology drama film, Pitta Kathalu. Hyderabad, July 5, 2021: On his 43rd birthday today, Telugu star Nandamuri Kalyan Ram announced his first Pan-India film. The actor will be starring in & as Devil, a dark mystery film directed by Naveen Medaram and produced by Abhishek Nama under the Abhishek Pictures banner. ## The film, written by Pushpa writer Srikanth Vissa, will depict an unwritten chapter from history with Nandamuri portraying a secret agent named Devil. Telangana Film Chamber Requests To Telugu Producers To Stop OTT Releases Until October

Hyderabad, July 3, 2021: Telangana film chamber of commerce has expressed concern over Telugu producers opting for the direct-to-digital release of their films amid the covid-19 pandemic. As per reports, one of the leading production houses of Telugu industry, Suresh Productions is reportadly considering its most-awaited films like Narappa, Virata Parvam, among others for direct OTT release. ## Raising concern over the latest development in the Telugu industry, the Telangana film chamber has requested the producers to stop the OTT release of their films until October. The film chamber is hopeful that theaters will be fully operational by October this year. The film chamber has warned them for a future course of action if producers continue to release their films on OTT. ## However, the chamber headed by Hon. Secretary Sunil Narang, said that "If the theaters do not open by October, you can consider OTT release". This decision has been taken keeping the larger interest of the entire Telugu Film industry, which has been hit hard by the covid-19 pandemic. ## The film chamber also appealed to the Andhra Pradesh Government to immediately make a decision about ticket rates. "The survival of theaters is at stake with such low rates. Theaters will close and many will lose employment". The national award-winning actor has reportadly signed his second Telugu movie with Tholi Prema director Venky Atluri. ## According to Deccan Chronicle, producer Suryadevara Nagavamsi has been planning to make a trilingual film for a long time and he has found this potential in Dhanush. Nagavamsi feels a trilingual film would do justice to the script, given Dhanush's popularity in the South and in Bollywood. ## It is said that Dhanush has agreed to work on the Atluri film. It will be Karnan actor's second back-to-back trilingual movie, to be made simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, after Sekhar Kammula's film. Suresh Productions' one of the most-anticipated films, Narappa, starring Venkatesh is expected to hit big screens in the first batch of releases followed by Virata Parvam and others. Venkatesh's other film, Drushyam 2 which is an official remake of the Malayalam film Drishyam 2, has almost been confirmed for direct-to-digital release on Amazon Prime Video.
