Samantha Ruth Prabhu Begins Shooting For Her Next, Titled 'Yashoda'

Hyderabad, December 6 - Samantha Ruth Prabhu is in full action after taking a short break from movies and shuttling her personal issues. Samantha recently completed the first item number of her career in Allu Arjun's "Pushpa: The Rise" and now begins filming for her next film, titled "Yashoda".## The movie, which will feature Samantha in the title role of an author, has started its regular shooting today in Gandipet, the outskirts of Hyderabad after the Pooja Ceremony. Said to be a new-age thriller, "Yashoda" will be released in five Indian languages including Hindi. ## Directed by director duo Hari and Harish, "Yashoda" is being produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under the banners of Sridevi Movies. The makers are planning to complete the entire shooting by March 2022 and the release date will be announced after that. Mani Sharma composes music for the film which has dialogues by Pulagam Chinnarayana and Dr. Challa Bhagya Lakshmi. Titled "Arrangements of Love", the movie is an adaptation of the bestselling 2004 novel of the same title by Indian author Timeri N. Murari. It will be produced by Sunitha Tati's Guru Films and will go on floors in August 2022. ## Samantha also has the mythological drama film "Shaakuntalam", for which the shoot has been wrapped up. The movie also marks Allu Arjun's daughter Allu Arha's acting debut. The release date is yet to be announced. Samantha To Lead BAFTA-Winning Director Philip John's 'Arrangements of Love'

Hyderabad, November 26 - Samantha Ruth Prabhu is on board to lead BAFTA-winning Welsh director Philip John's ("Downton Abbey"), "Arrangements of Love". It will be produced by Sunitha Tati's Guru Films, who earlier produced Samantha's Telugu film "Oh! Baby", which was a commercial success. Samir Sarkar, of Singapore's Magic Hour Films, is the executive producer of the new film.## "Arrangements of Love" is an adaptation of the bestselling 2004 novel of the same title by Indian author Timeri N. Murari. It follows a Welsh-Indian man on his quest to find his estranged father with an impromptu visit to his homeland. ## According to Variety, Samantha plays a strong-minded and funny force of nature 27-year-old, who runs her own detective agency and becomes part of the search. She is a progressive bisexual Tamil woman, with ultra-traditional parents, who want her to have an arranged marriage. As much as she wants to please her parents she also wants to be able to make her own life choices.## Speaking about the film, Samantha said, "A whole new world opens up for me today as I start my journey with 'Arrangements of Love', which has such an endearing and personal story. I am excited to work with Philip John, whose projects I have closely followed for many years, being a big fan of "Downton Abbey".## "I am looking forward to collaborating with Sunitha once again and I hope for only more success than we previously had with 'Oh! Baby'. My role is a complex character and it will be both a challenge and an opportunity for me to play it. Samantha Ruth Prabhu's Telugu fantasy comedy film, Oh! Baby has completed one year. The remake of South Korean film Miss Granny, Oh Baby was one of the most successful Telugu films of the year 2019. It was hailed critically with Samantha's performance was appreciated the most. ## Now, on film completing one year, Samantha took to her Instagram handle and recalls the movie she is most proud of. V. Nandini Reddy while D. Suresh Babu, Sunitha Tati, T.G.Vishwa Prasad, and Hyunwoo Thomas Kim produced the film under the banners Suresh Productions, People's Media Factory, Guru Films, and Kross Pictures. The music of the film was composed by Mickey J. Meyer.## The film stars Naga Shaurya, Lakshmi, and Rajendra Prasad along with Samantha Akkineni in the lead roles while Rao Ramesh, Teja Sajja, and Pragathi also played important roles.
