Mumbai, October 31 - Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's highly-awaited period romantic action drama film Love & War, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, has officially been postponed from Eid 2026 release, averting a clash with Yash-fronted Toxic, which is slated to hit the big screens on March 20. According to the report by Variety, Love and War will be released on the big screen on one of India's most coveted national public holiday frames, Independence Day 2026. It will debut on August 14, possibly setting up with a big box office clash with the Pan India biggie Fauzi, starring Prabhas. Though not yet official, Fauzi, directed by Sita Ramam fame Hanu Raghavapudi, is eyeing the same holiday frame for worldwide release. If true, it will be one of the biggest box office clashes as Fauzi will release in multiple languages, including Hindi. Thudakkam — meaning “beginning” — has officially rolled out, marking the acting debut of Vismaya Mohanlal, daughter of Malayalam cinema icon Mohanlal. Mumbai, October 31 - Bollywood superstar Salman Khan seems to be increasingly looking toward South Indian filmmakers to shape his next big project. After collaborating with director AR Murugadoss for the actioner Sikandar, the actor is now reportedly joining hands with Vamshi Paidipally for a family action drama. According to a report by Telugu360, Paidipally — known for helming blockbusters like Maharshi and Varisu — is set to direct Salman Khan in this upcoming film, which will be produced by Dil Raju. The superstar has reportedly given his formal nod to the project, with filming expected to begin sometime next year. It is said that Dil Raju paid some amount to Salman in the past for a possible collaboration. The actor will share the profits instead of taking a big remuneration, to which the producer has agreed. Mumbai, October 31 - Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan reunited with his director father David Dhawan for a romantic comedy Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, co-starring Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde. The film marks the fourth collaboration between father-son, who have worked earlier in Main Tera Hero (2014), Judwaa 2 (2017) and Coolie No. 1 (2020). Hyderabad, October 31 - Director SS Rajamouli's epic one-cut re-release of his path-breaking blockbuster Baahubali duology - Baahubali: The Epic has started with a bang at the worldwide box office after record-breaking premiere gross. Starring Prabhas in the title role, the 3-hour and 45-minute-long blockbuster had a limited premiere in India on October 30 and a full-fledged premiere in North America. The film grossed approximately 1.25-1.50 crores in its domestic premiere. In North America, the film is looking to gross around 3.75 crores, making it 5-5.25+ crores gross worldwide premiere. The Indian re-release titles historically don't have a premiere, so it is a new record for Baahubali: The Epic, and is likely to remain so.
