After giving the blockbuster Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor has become one of the bankable stars in Bollywood. He has been on a signing spree after Kabir Singh. The actor recently wrapped the filming of the Hindi remake of the Telugu movie, Jersey which is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri who also helmed the original movie. ## Now, he has plans of beginning an Amazon Prime Video's original series which will be helmed by the Family Man director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK aka Raj & DK. The web series also happens to be Shahid's big debut on the digital medium.## While the web series is yet to go on floors, Amazon Prime Video is set to make the show big as one of the top Tamil stars, Vijay Sethupathy has reportedly signed the series and will play an important role in the show. ## According to a source quoted in Bollywood Hungama, "Vijay Sethupathi has been roped in for a pivotal role in the series. Raj and DK wanted someone of his stature to join the cast of the action thriller. The team plans to kickstart the shoot of the same from January in Mumbai and Goa. The action thriller will be an episodic series and have both Shahid and Vijay in a never seen before role. The untitled show will also mark Vijay's debut in a series on the OTT platform". ## The series will also star, South actress, Malavika Mohanan in the female lead. Telugu star Samantha Akkineni who will be foraying into the digital medium with the second season of the hit series, The Family Man, feels Bollywood has the liberty to make films for a particular kind of audience, which is not the case in the South.## "Bollywood has the liberty to make films for a particular kind of audience. They don't have to appeal to every single person but in the South, we have to make sure that we are catering to every single person in the theatre", Samantha said while talking about the north-south bilingual divide of Indian cinema.## "It becomes very restrictive but now with OTT, it's a lot bolder and we're able to take more risks and hence the films that are coming out now are very global", added the actress. ## Actor Manoj Bajpayee, who stars in The Family Man, also opened up about the industry, saying, "I'm a huge fan of the South Indian film industry. All of us should make it a habit to go and explore these new cinematic worlds and learn from them. The storytelling, the performance, and their approach are completely different from how we do it".## The stars opened up about the industry in an upcoming episode of "Royal Stag Barrel Select Large Short Films". One week after Universal Champion Roman Reigns beat down Kevin Owen and insulted his family. KO returned to SmackDown to call out The Big Dog, identifying him a "hypocrite" and a "coward" and showing his determination to punish Reigns at WWE TLC.## Later, Reigns notified his unhinged cousin to "end Owens" and "take him out," which helped Jey Uso to unleash two more vicious attacks on Owens backstage. Ajey Nagar, who is popular as CarryMinati on YouTube, will enter Bollywood with a role in the Amitabh Bachchan-Ajay Devgn starrer, MayDay. He will play a social media sensation in the movie, which is based on the real life incidents. ## "I am absolutely thrilled and honoured to be aligning creative forces with such reputed personalities from the film fraternity. I'm eagerly looking forward to being a part of this brand-new adventure and learning a thing or two about acting while I'm at it", CarryMinati said as reported by India TV.## "In the past, I've got offered film roles but I agreed to be a part of this project because I had the opportunity to play myself and bring my alias, Carry Minati alive on the 70 mm screen. I remember enacting these skits as a child and my parents always thought I'd grow up to be an actor. You see acting is something that comes to me naturally just like music so it's no rocket science for me really", he added.## CarryMinati has a message for his fans. "For all my anxious fans out there, I'm just exploring and experimenting within the creative gamut, but content creation will always be my passion and true calling", he shared.## Mayday is directed and produced by Ajay, and the film marks his return on screen with Big B after Major Sahab, Khakee, Satyagraha and Hindustan Ki Kasam. Ajay is directing Big B for the first time. He is also playing the lead role as a pilot in the film. ## The film also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Angira Dhar, and Aakanksha Singh in pivotal roles. After 10 months, Bollywood actress Nimrat Kaur visited a movie theatre amid the Covid-19 pandemic to watch Tenet. She termed the experience surreal. Nimrat took to Twitter to describe 'How it was' as she watched Christopher Nolan directorial on the big screen, all alone.## "Today, nearly after 10 months, I was in a movie theatre, all by myself, like a child in a private magic show, watching a mind-bending masterclass in science fiction by one of the world's greatest ever. But for the first time ever, a story seemed lesser impossible than our reality", Nimrat wrote as she shared photos of herself wearing a mask from the completely empty theatre.## "The surreality of this experience I hold very close to my heart, as I do the sheer resilience of the human spirit.
