Filmmaker Patty Jenkins says she is hoping to use her upcoming film, Wonder Woman 1984, to add to the conversation on how each of us can discover the hero within. The $200 million-budget superhero adventure was originally supposed to release earlier this year but got delayed repeatedly amid the COVID crisis. Finally, the Gal Gadot-starrer will open in India just ahead of Christmas, on December 24.## "I hope that people come to the film and love it, of course. But I also hope that everyone gets something more out of it as well", Jenkins said as reported in Zee News.## "I want it to be a great time and a great superhero film experience, but I also hope to use our film to add to the conversation in this world about how each of us can find the hero within. That's what this world needs, so I'm so happy to get to be a part of that thought process", she added.## Gadot reprises her role as Diana Prince and her superhero alter ego Wonder Woman in the sequel of the 2017 DC blockbuster. The much-awaited Wonder Woman 1984 teases the beginning of a "new era of wonder" with a new battle, new armor, a new set of villains, edgier action, and a reunion with her long-lost love.## Opening up about the story and the character, the filmmaker said, "Well, in general, DC characters are natural-born heroes, and their stories are true heroes' journeys about these true north heroes who power comes easily to, and what to do with that power is their struggle".## "I'm drawn to that issue of how to be good and what being a hero is. Wonder Woman gives me that opportunity. Timothy Thatcher Inside The Fight Pit, North American Title Match And More.## Tommaso Ciampa will see Thatcher inside the FIGHT PIT next Wednesday on WWE NXT.## Tommaso Ciampa laid down the challenge during tonight's NXT episode, after Timothy Thatcher got an unexpected defeat at the hands of Leon Ruff, he was attacked by Tommaso Ciampa who dropped Thatcher with the Willow's Bell draping DDT.## Afterward, Ciampa said, Thatcher wants to fight, he will see him in the Fight Pit. Kyle O'Reilly and Pete Dunne squared off to see who would face Finn Balor for the NXT Championship at New Year's Evil, And as you might expect from their battles over the last month, this was just as hard-hitting and intense.## After a brawl broke out in the ringside area before the match even began the focus reverted to O'Reilly and done with both been dishing out cold brutal and Innovative offense. In the end, O'Reilly earned the victory with a top rope creaks the back of Dunne's neck to become the number one Contender both men came out of the match with visible bruises and contusions.## In the main event, Rhea Ripley and Tony Storm Revisited a rivalry that originated in battles over the NXT UK Women's Championship, these days there's much more dislike between these two major players of the women's division that was on full display in the Capitol Wrestling Center.## However, it was Raquel Gonzalez who slugged the tide when she snatched Ripley off the ring apron and Center into the post, Storm would go on to hit Storm Zero for the win as if the Lost wasn't bad enough Ripley once again suffered "Ear Trauma and skin disfigurement" similar to what she dealt with in her match against Io Shirai last month.## On Facebook live minutes before NXT on USA Network began Indi Hartwell told Wade Barrett. She wouldn't need her neck brace anymore and would be facing Shotzi Blackheart later in the night. Of course, the way had to make their presence known during the match and while Candice had the referee distracted Hartwell got the green hair trophy from Austin Theory.## However, the referee saw Hartwell used the trophy on Shotzi Blackheart which caused a disqualification. The attack with the trophy continues and Hartwell assistive Candice with a wicked stepsister on Blackheart to finish the job. Tamil star Dhanush has joined the ensemble cast of Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling, and Ana de Armas for Netflix's upcoming action thriller 'The Gray Man', which will be helmed by Avengers: Endgame director duo Anthony and Joe Russo.## The announcement was made by Netflix recently via a tweet. At WWE TLC, Sasha Banks will once again put her SmackDown Women’s Title on the line against Carmella in a notably personal showdown. Sasha Banks Vs. Carmella is a top-notch match taking place at TLC. Sasha Banks has twice been brutalized by Carmella on SmackDown which hits a match between both superstars for the SmackDown Women's Championship Match.## As noted, Instead of coming to the ring last week to sign the contract for a SmackDown Women’s Championship Match at WWE TLC against Sasha Banks, Carmella “borrowed” the document and had the signed version delivered to the ring via a sommelier.## Later, Sasha Banks opted to battle Carmella in SmackDown Women’s Title Match on SmackDown. This only served to further aggravate The Boss, and she decided to flip the script and make the executive decision to face Mella for the title in the main event of SmackDown in order to get her hands on the self-proclaimed “untouchable” Carmella. ## Later that night, when Carmella’s sommelier decided to get involved in the impromptu title match, Sasha snapped and got herself disqualified as she went after her challenger with a new level of aggression. After the bell, Sasha went even further by locking the sommelier in the Bank Statement. But Carmella used this distraction to regain the advantage and unleash a brutal assault that culminated in her smashing a bottle of champagne on the back of The Boss! Filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar will make his digital debut with Amazon Prime Video's original web series, Tandav, which he says will focus on the various aspects of the power-hungry world of politics where nothing is wrong or right. ## Created and directed by Zafar, the nine-part political series features an ensemble cast headlined by Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Tigmanshu Dhulia, and Sunil Grover along with Gauhar Khan, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Kritika Kamra, and others. Zafar has produced the web show with Himanshu Kishan Mehra.## "Through 'Tandav', we take audiences into the power-hungry world of politics. PETA India has named actors Shraddha Kapoor, and Sonu Sood as its 2020 Hottest Vegetarians.## As part of his efforts, the Simmba actor appeared in a pro-vegetarian PETA India print campaign, participated in the group's "Hug a Vegetarian" Day, and supported a social media appeal to push McDonald's to add a McVegan burger to its menu, a press release mentioned. In fact, he is also known to have rescued an injured pigeon while playing cricket with his son.## Shraddha, on the other hand, was inspired to quit meat after she came across a cookbook shared by PETA India. Since then, she has been giving glimpses of her delicious vegetarian meals on Instagram.
