Netflix's 'Stranger Things' To Have A Crossover With Ryan Reynolds' 'Deadpool'; Hints Series Producer
Los Angeles, September 13 - Netflix's sci-fi horror drama series, Stanger Things has been a smash hit worldwide and is getting ready for its fifth and final season, which is currently in the writing stage. Meanwhile, Netflix is planning to follow in the footsteps of MCU regarding Stranger Things. ## Series executive producer and director Shawn Levy said that he working on the idea of creating a Stranger Things Cinematic Universe (STCU). ## "Yes, we are building out the STCU, and now that I'm spending time with Kevin Feige, I'm learning a lot about how to manage a universe", Levy said in an interview with Variety. "So I'm taking those skills and applying them to the STCU". ## ICYDK, Levy has been hired to direct the next installment in the Deadpool franchise and has been working with Marvel boss Kevin Feige on the upcoming movie. He was asked if there could be a crossover between the residents of Hawkins and Wade Wilson aka the Deadpool.## "Funnily enough, (Deadpool" star Ryan (Reynolds) and I were trying to figure out how in the world could we do a 'Deadpool' - 'Stranger Things' crossover", he said. "We haven't cracked it yet, but it's on the table". ## Meanwhile, apart from season 5 of "Stranger Things", the show creator, the Duffer brothers are working on a spinoff series, as well as a stage play. They haven't revealed exactly what the spin-off show will be about, but the Duffer brothers have confirmed it won't feature any of the main Stranger Things cast. ## Stay tuned...
