Singer Palak Muchhal Scores Guinness World Record For Funding Over 3,800 Heart Surgeries
Mumbai, November 11 - Singer Palak Muchhal, known for her soulful hits and golden voice, has made it to the Guinness Book of World Records and Limca Book of Records for a special cause. The Indore-born singer has won the honour for her incredible charitable work of funding heart surgeries for underprivileged children. The 33-year-old has funded over 3800 heart surgeries for underprivileged children across India and beyond through her Palak Palash Charitable Foundation. She has been doing this charity since a very young age. In a recent interview, she shared that she has funded 3803 surgeries till now, and it has been 25 years since she started doing that. As a child, Palak encountered underprivileged children on a train journey – a moment that changed her life's course. She made a quiet promise to herself that day - "I will help them someday."
