Kriti Sanon To Headline The Hindi Remake Of Hollywood Blockbuster 'Kill Bill'
Mumbai, December 15 - Actress Kriti Sanon is at the peak of her career at the moment. After delivering the digital blockbuster in the form of "Mimi", the Heropanti actress has an exciting line-up of future projects, and now, she has added one more film to the list. ## Earlier, there were rumours that Kriti would be starring in the Hindi remake of the Hollywood blockbuster film "Kill Bill". The latest development is that the movie has been confirmed and it will go on floors early next year. Actor-producer Nikhil Dwivedi had bagged the remake rights and it will be directed by Anurag Kashyap. ## Kriti Sanon will be essaying the leading role originally played by Uma Thurman in the Quentin Tarantino classic film. It was reported that Nikhil has been working closely on the script of the 'Kill Bill' adaptation with Anurag Kashyap all through the lockdown. The duo is calling it a homage to the original film and has finally locked a script that does justice to the legacy of the Quentin Tarantino directorial. ## The original film revolves around a woman, who swears revenge on a team of assassins and their leader, Bill, after they try to kill her and her unborn child. Her journey takes her to Tokyo, where she battles the yakuza. It's the character of an assassin, termed as the deadliest woman in the world. The action aside, there runs a strong undercurrent of revenge and emotions all through the narrative.## Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon, on the other hand, currently shooting for "Shehzada", co-starring Kartik Aaryan. She is also working on the futuristic action drama film, "Ganapath - Part 1", co-starring Tiger Shroff in the title role.
