Box Office: Fukrey 3 First Tuesday Early Estimates

Mumbai, October 3 - After the good extended holiday weekend, comic caper "Fukrey 3" sees a drop on its first working day. The drop from Monday, which was a Gandhi Jayanti holiday, is around 60% while the same is around 40% from Friday which is a bit higher than expected. ## On its first Tuesday/6th day, "Fukrey 3" scored an estimated 4.50 crores net collection (can go higher) which takes the total collection to around 59.50 crores in 6 days. A 5+ crore net Tuesday would have been a nice hold. The first 8-day extended weekend is looking to be around 67 crores. ## "Fukrey 3", despite the underwhelming first working day, is in a safe position due to the controlled budget. The movie is still in the race to join the 100 Crores Net Club, but if it falls short, the movie will be a box-office success. It should be able to cross the lifetime collection of its predecessor which scored approximately 80 crores net in 2017 in the second weekend.## "Fukrey Returns" had scored 50 crores net in the first week which the latest hit crossed in just 5 days. The trend is much better for the latest movie, which should ensure a healthy lifetime total for it though it has to face competition from Akshay Kumar's "Mission Raniganj" this Friday while Shah Rukh Khan's "Jawan" is already running strong.## Stay tuned...

Mumbai, October 3 - Producer Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films has announced the theatrical release dates of its 10 films that will debut in theatres over the next two years. Among the 10 films, "Happy Teachers Day" will release this year while 6 films will debut in 2024, and 3 films will hit screens in 2025.## Happy Teachers Day - Directed by Mikhil Musale, the movie stars Nimrat Kaur, Radhika Madan, Bhaygashree, and Subodh Bhave in prominent roles. It will hit screens on October 27, 2023. ## Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's untitled next - Bollywood stars Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon team up for the first for this robotic romantic comedy film, billed as an impossible love story. Directed by Amit Joshi & Aradhana Sah and also starring Dharmendra, and Dimple Kapadia, the movie will be released on February 9, 2024, during Valentine's Day weekend.## Munjhya - A part of Maddock Films' horror-comedy universe, Munjhya stars Sharvari Wagh in the lead role alongside, Mona Singh, S Satyaraj, and Abhay Verma. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, it will be released on March 29, 2024.## Tehran - Directed by Arun Gopalan, the movie stars John Abraham, Manushi Chillar, and Neeru Bajwa in the leading roles. The movie has been in production since last year and was supposed to be released in January 2023. It will now be hitting cinemas on April 26, 2024.## Stree 2 - Easily the most-awaited movie from Maddock Films, "Stree 2" is the sequel to 2018's film which was the first movie in the studio's horror-comedy universe. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the movie stars Shraddha Kapoor in the title role alongside, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. The movie will be released on August 30, 2024.## Sky Force - Another big-budgeted war movie, which was recently announced. Starring superstar Akshay Kumar, and marking the debut of Veer Pahariya, "Sky Force" is based on India's first and deadliest air strike during the Indo-Pak war in 1965. It is directed by Sandeep Kewlani & Abhishek Anil Kapur and will be released on October 2, 2024.## Chaava - This historical action drama film is a larger-than-life biopic of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the eldest son of the Maratha empire's founder and the great warrior king, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Vicky Kaushal plays the lead role with Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. Directed by Laxman Utekar, "Chaava" will hit cinemas on December 6, 2024.## Ekkis - Directed by Sriram Raghavan, and starring Dharmendra, Agastya Nanda, and Jaideep Ahlawat, Ekkis will be released on January 10, 2025.## Vampires of Vijaynagar - Another movie that is touted to be a part of the horror-comedy universe. Maddock Films hasn't revealed that cast yet, but reports say it will be headlined by Ayushmann Khurrana and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. It will be directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, and Maddock has scheduled it for February 14, 2025, release on Valentine's Day.## Diler - Directed by Kunal Deshmukh, it will hit theatres on April 10, 2025. Mumbai, September 28 - Director Mrigdeep Singh Lamba's "Fukrey 3" has taken the franchise's best opening at the domestic box office. The comic caper manages to surpass the opening of "Fukrey Returns" which scored 8.10 crores net. ## "Fukrey 3" released some expectations, mainly due to the strong franchise recall value. It started on a decent note in the morning shows and witnessed some growth as the day progressed as it scored an estimated around 8.50 crores net and might go towards 9 crores. ## The three national chains (PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis) have contributed over 50% to the opening day collection of "Fukrey 3". The mass centres are not that strong though they should come in the picture over the weekend as the movie is carrying decent word of mouth. ## The second release of the day, Vivek Agnihotri's "The Vaccine War" has a low start as it scored around 1.50 crores net on opening day. Box Office: 'Gadar 2' Surpasses 'Pathaan' To Become The Highest Net Grosser In Hindi

Mumbai, September 28 - Sunny Deol-fronted period action drama film Gadar 2: The Katha Continues has crossed the lifetime net collection of Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan and becomes the highest net-grossing film ever in the Hindi language, according to producer Zee Studios. ## Directed by Anil Sharma, the mega-blockbuster sequel to 2001's "Gadar: Ek Prem Kathaan" has scored 524.75 crores net collection so far in 48 days, crossing "Pathaan" which scored 524.53 crores net in Hindi earlier this year. The SRK-fronted movie had overall scored 543 crores net which includes approximately 17.50 crores net of Tamil and Telugu versions.## "Gadar 2", however, won't remain the highest-grossing Hindi movie for more than two days as Shah Rukh Khan's latest blockbuster "Jawan" is likely to top both the movies either today or tomorrow to claim the number 1 spot in Hindi. It is already the highest net-grossing Bollywood movie of all time 576 crores net in all versions so far.## Produced by Anil Sharma with Zee Studios, G2 has emerged as one of the biggest all-time blockbusters with a worldwide collection of 685 crores, including 65.50 crores overseas collection against a budget of just around 70 crores. Mumbai, September 26 - Bollywood's lady superstar Alia Bhatt has joined hands with "Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota" director Vasan Bala for the first time. The movie is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions with Alia's Eternal Sunshine Productions. ## On Tuesday (September 26), the makers officially announced the movie with the first look title motion poster. The movie, which is touted to be an action-thriller, has been titled Jigra.
