Mumbai, July 10 - Bollywood star Varun Dhawan has reunited with his director father David Dhawan for a romantic comedy for the 4th time, after Main Tera Hero, Judwaa 2, and Coolie No.1. Unlike the previous three films, the upcoming one is an original script. ## Recently, it was revealed that Mrunal Thakur and Sreeleela (Bollywood debut) would be playing the female lead roles, and now, the quirky title of the movie has also been revealed as the shoot has commenced today in Mumbai. ## According to the Pinkvilla report, the romantic comic caper has been titled, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai which is said to be the sync of the script. It has already been announced to be released on October 2, 2025. It is produced by Ramesh Taurani under the banner of Tips Films.## "It's a fun family entertainer with the love triangle of the trio at the centre. David Dhawan has cracked a concept that’s fresh and original, and is confident to recreate the magic of comedies on the big screen again", says the report. ## It is also reported that the makers are on the verge of bringing together some of the most celebrated comic artists on the screen alongside the lead trio. Mumbai, June 16 - Varun Dhawan is returning to the big screen with the romantic-comedy-drama film "Jug Jugg Jeeyo" for the first time since "Street Dancer 3D". The Raj Mehta-directed movie is scheduled to release on June 24 as the makers are leaving no stone unturned to promote the movie. ## "Jug Jugg Jeeyo" is expected to do well at the box office, which has become uncertain post the covid-19 pandemic. While most of the recent Bollywood films have failed at the box office, JJJ is seen as a potential box office winner by trade experts.## Varun Dhawan, during a recent interview with Pinkvilla, however, said that they are clueless about the box office trends nowadays as no one knows what will happen to their movies. The actor shared his opinion about the unpredictability of the box office. ## "I want to say this on camera that 'Nobody knows sh*t' about trends and what works and what doesn't at the box office. Let's be honest, I don't think the trade knows anything. I don't know that even the most successful producers know or directors, there's nothing. Nobody knows anything", Varun said. ## Kiara Advani, who is playing the female lead opposite Varun, agreed with him and said, "What are these trends? There are no trends. Nobody knows what's working, no one knows. Mumbai, April 28 - Amazon Prime Video and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions have extended their partnership after the success of "Shershaah" and "Gehraiyaan". Dharma Productions has signed a deal with Prime Video for the post-theatrical release of its three upcoming movies. ## The studio behind many blockbuster family entertainers will release its "Jug Jugg Jeeyo", "Govinda Naam Mera", and "Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani" after completing their theatrical run. The announcement was made during an event in Mumbai today (April 28), in which two companies also joined hands for 1 direct OTT release and 4 wen shows. ## "Jug Jugg Jeeyo", which is directed by Raj Mehta, is a comedy-drama film starring Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Kiara Advani in the lead roles alongside Prajakta Koli and Manish Paul. Produced by Dharma Productions, and Viacom18 Studios, the movie is slated to release in June this year. ## Director Shashank Khaitan's romantic-comedy "Govinda Naam Mera" will also be streaming on Prime Video after completing its theatrical run. It stars Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani, and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles. It is slated to release later this year. ## Among the three movies, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt's "Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani" is the most-awaited film that marks Karan Johar's directorial return after a long gap. It is a romantic-comedy-drama film that also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi.
